    I found early on that you have to have weight on the 3ph if you want to use the FEL. I have filled tires but you still need weight back there. I keep my tiller or cutter attached if I have the room so that I don't have to switch as often.

    Welcome to OTT Shrimp. I would definitely go with the L4701 as you will find that the more tractor will be used from time to time. The increased height and weight lift of the L4701 loader is well worth it, not to mention the increased 3pt lift capibility.
