I have the heavier RCR1860 and haven't had that problem but did have the bolts holding the Gear Box on to come loose.

I thought that is what those little blue pills were for?

I think what the manual actually states is "EITHER slip clutch or shear bolt." The heavier models, i.e. 1860, does have the slip clutch.

ShaunRH, I had exactly the same problem when my L3200DT had only 10 hours on it. Since then, I watch my gauge very closely and as soon as the needle gets to the center of the 'safe' zone, I stop the tractor and clean the radiator. What a pain!!

My L3200 idles fine if I put it in Neutral and have the PTO off!

In March of 2013, I paid 17,500 for my L3200DT with LA524 FEL and Loaded rear tires.
