Well I had a Yanmar YM180(18 HP) with FEL for several years.
Old and decrepit. Maintained it well and it kept on chugging and it has met my needs but sometimes I needed a bit more horses.
Recently sold it.

Was looking for a used replacement in the 25 HP range, but wasn't much available that interested me. Budget increase.

Step-up one - looking at new Kubota B2650. Wow, lots of options. Huge price differences across multiple states. Settled. Ready for RoadTrip to Kansas. Ready to order. Wife says, "that's not much bigger that your riding mower". Budget increase.

Step-up two - looking at used L series Kubota's. Some available that I can make work for me, but its a lot of money for an unknown to me, used machine. Interest Rate is high making used cost as much as a new machine by payoff. Budget increase.

Step-up three - New L3300. But its more of a workhorse, so I have to add several things to it to be comfy for an old man. Dollars are getting high, but what the hay it's 0% interest. Wife sits in a used Grand L3540 and says we need this glass thingy(CAB). Budget increase.

Step-up four - looking at New Grand L3560HSTC. Wife says she is fine with the budget buster.

Tractor, Tiller, Taxes, and delivery for $37,174 out the door. Waiting for delivery.

Turns out that sometimes you can benefit from having the financial advisor involved in the search.

It's almost ready for delivery.:D

Welcome to the forum! You'll love the 3560, it is a great tractor, and your financial advisor may enjoy using it too! I love mine. Get the owner's manual while you are waiting for yours to be delivered and pore over it so you'll see if you have any questions when they deliver it. It has a lot of cool features that take a while to figure out when and how to use.

Congratulations, like sheepfarmer, I get the manual prior to delivery and read it a few times, everything will make a lot more sense ad you will be productive quicker once it gets there.

Wow, what a jump up. Congrats. How are you going to get the wife to let you have some seat time?

If it's not too late consider an air ride seat, the suspensions seats are not that good at soaking up bumpy fields and roads.

Well mickeyd, I just hope she will actually try it. She never has.
It would be handy for this new rig to be friendly enough for her to assist with implement changes and such.

Hi sheepfarmer,
Sounds like good advice.
Is there a place on line to get a copy of the Owners Manual?
Not free, that I know of, for these newer models. You will get a paper copy free from your dealer, so no point in paying for one from another source. If lost, Messick's and the Kubota website offer them for a fee. Surprisingly pricey. The WSM is also startlingly expensive.

Congrats on the new tractor. I just got a L4060 cab in April and very happy with it. Don't forget to post pics on delivery day.
