You will have to order it direct from Amsoil unless you happen to have a local dealer in your area. This https://ww2.amsoil.com/p/synthetic-polymeric-off-road-grease-nlgi-2-gpor2/ is what I use and it works great. It comes in 15 oz tubes to most other brands are 14 and really doesn't cost as...
Never heard of a 1000 hr break-in before. I changed both my current tractors to synthetic around 20-25 hrs and neither one burn a drop of oil.
If synthetic oil keeps rings from seating how do vehicles that are factory filled with synthetic ever run at all?
I use and have used Amsoil moly grease on all my equipment for 20+ years. I have not found anything better and I've tried a lot of different brands. Just don't get caught up in the "any grease is better than no grease" myth. There is a difference in quality and performance.
This is exactly like the Kubota style I bought for mine. I prefer them to a SSQA because it has no moving parts to break. I paid about $300 from my dealer. I leave a set of top pins in my stuff so I don't have to change them every time I switch it out.
If it's not enough to have rear remoted, hyd assist 3pt and one beefy rear hitch.
A L cab with shuttle shift instead of hst garbage, 16 speed to make it even better. I bet we'll never see them in the states though.
Believe it or not it was a hyd line. But it was a bad one that required the cab to be lifted off to fix.
My son said he like to have never got it on his truck. Tractor weighed 17k and that's a 10k rollback. Just a little over weight.
All this emissions stuff makes me sick. I could see a problem if all diesels were like the old R model Macks were. Lay into them and you couldn't even see the road behind you. Or the Dodge Caravan which has killed more mosquitoes than any other vehicle on the road. But we're talking about...
Buddy of mine has been looking for a 120-150hp tractor for over a year now. Lots of 2-3 yr old machines on the market at a good deal but he's scared of them with good reason IMO.
It's bad that 40 yr old tractors are about the same price as a 3 or 4yr old is. I don't know what farmers are going...
Sometimes I've seen pins that you had to work the bucket as you tried to grease them. If that doesn't work remove the pins and clean the grease vein then put them back in.
After that use quality grease so they don't get plugged up again.
They're not cheap but once you have them replacement cost would be low. I look at how many acres I cut each year with my hay mower and how long those last. A person could probably cut the rest of their life on one set of meg-mo blades.
This is my cleaning procedure. When it's dirty I carefully remove it. Inspect the cap and clean all the trash out. Remove the lid from the garbage cab and insert old filter. Install new filter and freshly cleaned cap.
I'd rather replace the filter than take a chance on blowing a hole in it...
Don't know about that brand. I bought a Milwaukee metal saw about 10 years ago. Can't really say for sure how much I've cut but would guess between 200 -300 feet and it still cuts just as good as it did new.
Not used daily but a great tool for any welder/fabricator to have around.
Don't know about gator, but I'd suggest looking at the Meg-Mo system. That's what I plan to switch to. If I didn't already have 3 sets of blades I would have already done it.
