    Hydraulic Hoses

Don't know if they all do it but my local Cat dealer has foam bullets that they blow through every line before it goes on a machine or handed to a customer.

    Trailering the Tractor

I say quit playing. F550 with 10K 25+5 gooseneck should cover all requirements.

    Another remote valve question

It'll pull the engine down but most of the time it won't kick out at low idle. Been like that since new. As far as the hyd system goes everything works as it should. If anything it has to be feathered so to speak because it's almost to fast for some task.

Best + Cheapest all around Sub-Compact tractor tire!

Are you pleased with the wear? I put a set of Carlisle R1's on the front of my L3000 and they are wearing like crap. I thought the Bridgestones were bad but I don't think these will last half as long. They hold a load better but that's about it. I'll probably go with a set of Titan's if I can...

    M9000 Valve Adjustment or 'Overhead'

Not to start a oil war but I recommend Amsoil 5w30 heavy duty diesel oil. No additives are needed and you'll have in my opinion the highest level of protection on the market. It's change interval is rated for up to 600 hrs or once a year. I've bought 2 M9000's and neither have had any kind of...

    Another remote valve question

The remote valves are strange on a Kubota, or at least the ones I use they are. I use the #1 for my baler tailgate. At high idle I have to hold it to raise the gate. At about 1500 it will lock back at raise it on it's own and kick out when the gate tops out. At low idle it will lock but won't...

    Trailering the Tractor

I'd vote for no with a 150 but that's me I guess. Just keep in mind that a gooseneck is going to add probably another 3000-5000 lbs to your current load.

    Oil change issue

Why would you think that? I was just thinking that if the OP didn't drain both sides of the pan that might explain why the oil turned black so fast.

    Pull scraper dirt pan

I used this one with our old IH 484 which was about 50 hp. Did okay in soft dirt, not so much in hard ground but no scraper is going to be very good in hard pack unless it's being pushed and/or the ground ripped.

    7060 Loosing Power

They used to be a 20 micron, don't know about these new ones but it wouldn't surprise me if it's the same. I added a Dahl filter on one of mine. I use a 2 micron filter in it and never have fuel issues. It claims that nothing large enough to damage the fuel system can pass through which is...

    Oil change issue

Turning black in a hour sounds a little excessive to me. Did you drain both sides of the pan when you changed it? Some oil changes color quicker than others. Rotella will turn dark much faster than what I use.

    2008 Mx5100 reg. gear shift 2w drive Fluid ?

Even though the fluid may look good the additive package does break down over time. Changing it is cheap insurance for a long happy life. No more often than it needs changing spend the money on quality fluid. Going cheap here isn't going to save anything in the long run. I personally use Amsoil...

    Easy question...fuel canisters?

I wondered if there was some kind of option on the tanks. I always thought the tanks looked alike as well but guess not. I could think of 2 different things on the tank size. The cab models have more HP so they figured it would burn more fuel than a OS. Or they figured a person was more...

    Easy question...fuel canisters?

I wonder if yours are like mine. The OS only holds 23 gallons and the Cab holds 30. Funny how things are about the same down here. When I fill up at my local station I'm normally the only orange tractor there to and it's hard to pass up the ice cream.

    Easy question...fuel canisters?

I just had to fix a leaking tank on my M9000 and used a 5 gallon can to put fuel in it so I could get it back to my bulk tank. I hated having to do it once after being used to using electric pumps. I don't see how you guys do it all the time but I burn quite a bit of fuel.

    Tractor Supply 4' Tiller

My brother bought one of those and hooked it behind his B7500. His had a loader and it was still light in the front end. Tractor just barely had enough power to run it but didn't have enough traction so had to be in 4wd all the time. In 2wd after the tiller bit in the tractor would just sit and...

    front end loader

I'd go to a local hyd shop as well. You'll save yourself a ton of money. Most expensive ones I've ever had rebuilt were 4" and it was only about $150 for both. The 2"-3" usually only cost about $30-40 but that's with me taking them about and putting back together.

    NEW M7060 12 speed weak, weak weak in 11 & 12 gear

I feel like tractors get tuned so to speak as to how the man doing the pump is feeling that day. Night and day difference between my open M9000 and my cab M9000. Both are rated the same but very different in power. And when I say different I mean it's huge. My cab tractor will pull a 15' batwing...

    Suitcase Weights - Used Value

I bought mine from my dealer. They were a off brand he carried instead of Kubota brand. I got the bracket and 1000 lbs new for about $800.

    Gas powered log splitter

I bought one from Wally world of all places about 20 years ago. It's a 25 ton with a Briggs engine. I'm sure there's better out there but it has given no problems at all.
