Anyone own a B series with bi-speed turn option?

While I am a fan of keeping things simple, I feel this is a feature I could benefit from. Almost half of my mowing needs to be done in 4wd, so I'm in the same boat as you SDT. I appreciate your input. I guess the best thing to do is just buy one, use it for a season and see which one I like...

Anyone own a B series with bi-speed turn option?

I’m thinking of upgrading one of my B7200’s to a B2410 with bi-speed turn. It appears to be the last B series Kubota made with this option (2000-2005). I assume they dropped it due to the popularity of the zero-turn mower, which I’m not interested in. Mainly curious if it does cut down on...

    Oil Pressure Gauge

That’s a grease gun hose rated for about 10 times the pressure it sees. There is absolutely nothing to worry about.

    Oil Pressure Gauge

BSPT is the "metric" version of a pipe thread.

    Oil Pressure Gauge

The T-Tap out of the block works well. I've been running this setup for a while now and it's been good. The tap and hose are all bspt threads. You just need a bspt to npt coupler to mount to the autometer sending unit and you're good to go, or a hose that has the different fittings at the ends...

    Will it fit

Not without modifications because the 4610 is bigger in every way compared to a 3010. That loader in general is too much for the 3010. What you need is a LA481 or LA482 loader. The difference between the two is an updated subframe mount. Capacities are the same for both.

    L3710 front tire size

The difference between the 8-16 and 8.3-16 doesn't seem that much. Still I'd wait for someone more experienced to chime in. If your getting new rims, make sure they are lugcentric, have the same bolt pattern, and similar offset. Given there isn't a loader on the machine, you can probably get...

    B7200 not starting

It really is, and makes you appreciate its simplicity after wrenching on something made within the last decade!

    B7200 not starting

It's also possible the ignition switch is shot. I had to replace one in my B7200 a few years ago as it would not start (but you could still glow the engine)

    L3710 front tire size

According to the owners manual, it sounds like your machine already has a mismatched set of tires on it. 8.3-16 is listed as a turf size, and 14.9-24 and Ag size. See attachments from the manual. Hopefully someone can chime in and calculate the proper lead-lag ratio for ya.

Do Kubota tractors have a built in over run clutch?

As a side topic Wolfman, have you ever seen a GST L-series optioned with an independent PTO? I must have looked at dozens of them in the past and never came across one. It led me to the impression that the independent PTO was only an option for a gear drive L-series.

    B6200 Tire Qs

That's 900LBS per tire, so 1800LBS distributed between both front tires. Your machine + loader + 500LBS bucket capacity might put you around 2,000LBS. I'd say 70% of that would be on the front end during loader operation, so maybe 1400LBS max or 700LBS per tire.

    Pulling logs

Yes, I welded that piece of square tubing on the bottom so I can plug my hitch into it. It doubles nicely as a trailer jockey.

    B6200 Tire Qs

Kenda makes a true turf tire in 20.5x8x10. I run them on my one B7200 and am quite pleased with them. https://specialty.kendatire.com/en-us/find-a-tire/turf/k513/

    Pulling logs

I'm not sure if it's quick-hitch compatible. You might want to contact Norwood to see what they have to say. I will say it only weighs like 30-40 LBS, so it's by far the easiest implement I have to mount/dismount...

    L3710 HST Weird starting issue

It sounds like you have a loose or corroded connection. Check all cable ends and grounds. Make sure they are clean and tight.

    Bearing Bore Wear

Gentlemen, thank you kindly for the suggestions. I really like the idea of a retaining compound, so I'm going to give the Loctite a shot. After doing some research, it appears Loctite sells a "638 high-strength retaining compound" good for 0.15-0.25mm gaps, is oil resistat, and good for up to...

    Bearing Bore Wear

Curious if anyone else has experienced this: The input shaft seal on my MMM gearbox started to leak mid season. It makes quite the mess once it hits the belt and spindle pulleys. Now that I'm done mowing for the year, I removed the gearbox to inspect it. The input shaft has excessive radial...

    Operating glow plugs on L3710?

MY L3010 and L2900 are the same way. It's impressive how quick they fire off in the cold. Makes you wonder if the OP's glow plug controller is working properly. If you want to install a block heater, I recommend an OEM Kubota part# 700000-00297
