    Brush hog blade-nut access

Did that on my Agri-72 when i first got it. A friend gave it to me in near demolished condition. Sadly after making the effort to resurrect this beast my old cockshutt doesent have a tight enough clutch on the pto to drive it. It likes to slip under heavy loads. Im certain i will destroy...

    B6000 brakes and service questions

De-greasing brake shoes can be somewhat of a challenge, warming shoe lining With a torch will sweat out the oil, and continous wiping with a clean rag. Dont overdo it with the torch, as you can actually burn the lining. This thread is helpful to me also, as my left pedal is sticking, now i know...

    g1800 mower deck gearbox leak

A couple options, a redi or speedy sleeve, available through local auto/ farm parts supply, they will need to measure shaft. A little difficult to install, but will restore seal surface. Might want to google it. As far as 00 grease, also used in snapper gearboxes. So any lawn and garden...

    Zero turn steering issue

Im guessing this is a hydrostatic type transmission, both pumps should sound the same, possibly one is louder than the other? I have seen peerless hydros fail with less than 500 hours. Dont know what kubota sells them for, but peerles run around 1200.

    Overheating L2500 1999

Couple things, temp guage or sender out of range.would need a non contact thermometer to verify. When flushing rad,was there any buildup in cores? i just had a head gasket fail on a small machine, inside of rad was slimy, used simple green to flush. Was spotless after. A faulty rad cap that...

    M7040 Electrical outlet

Those connectors are used on highway trucks, so any truck service shop will have. Four pin connectors are easier to locate

    Mowing

Grasshoppahs are great machines. Tough and quick. We run three at work. Those little diesels work really well

    1000.00 B7300 HSD runs. But i have a question

With enough traction, too high range and loading bucket, it will stall. Our 4610 will stall under the right conditions. Something i try not to do. If its your first go round with hst, less pedal produces more power.

    3 point pallet forks

Picture that setup with 2x2 square tubes in place of forks. I built this as a way to move pallets. Also welded a third tube in centre to accept trailer hitch. As far as forking around goes, i figure my L1501 carried near 600 lbs without much trouble. Never realized how useful something like...

Using a gas can that previously had unleaded

I would make a metal or yellow plastic tag and write diesel on it. I prefer this method as something dangling will get my attention and remind me to read tag. I prefer the yellow jug myself, hate the new pour spouts Doesent matter what you put in jugs as long as its marked.

    Battery replacement for 75D26R

You made reference to your charger being 2v. 2 a-or amps Is what we are looking for. 12 volt 2 amp automatic would be the ideal setup for maintaining your battery. I prefer an auto type charger over anything as it prevents boiling battery out and destroying it. A slow or trickle charge is the...

    Adding Hydraulic Fluid to L3800HST

As far as i know the only way is the sight glass. Drain some out til fluid line appears. Over filling may cause foaming, but there would be room for expansion when oil heats up.

    Hydraulic part #???

On some kubotas there is a control that needs to be moved When installing loader. A valve of some sort near the hyd filter. I noticed it in the operators manual for our 4610 This may not apply in your case.

    dangerous bx2230 problem

I cant see a split pin working in this situation, a tube with a slit will work out in time. Even a roll pin will find its way out if splines are worn. Especially if driveline is constantly loaded or torqued up. A bolt as described above will be the better choice. Loss of control by far...

If I were to buy a generator (450lb) can my bx2670 lift and move it?

Most likely the cover can be removed. For service and for moving. There needs to be some way to hoist and move/ secure them Or they would all still be sitting in the factory. 450 isn't much of a lift even for a small loader. Proper practice needs to be observed like on Level ground and carry...

Fuel Tank Empty Gauge Still indicating Fuel

Yes, generally speaking most sending units Are one wire, with key on and wire removed Gauge will go to one side, and to the other when grounded. Usually most senders can be removed without much difficulty.

    G2000 relay / regulator help

That seems like a bad battery/ poor connection. I have seen many batteries that have good voltage, but go open under any kind of load. Its a common failure. Resistance tests for ground/ power circuits are next.
