    My L1501 has a steel block up front-as wide as framerails and 1-1/2 " thick. My guess is around 40 lbs. i know its not much but some machines run loaders on them. So 100 lbs would help im sure.

    What engine rpm you running? Possibly cooling system flush is necessary. Valves adjusted -that is if they are adjustable. Belts tight, rad cap holding pressure?

    Have welded on everything with wheels, never disconnected battery. Unless i have to weld near battery then i remove it. Disconnecting neg cable does nothing. There is some sort of surge protector you can connect, will arrest spikes to electrical system. Most tool dustributors carry it.

    If a plugged fuel filter was an issue,dirty fuel tank is also a possibility.tank needs to be cleaned to eliminate that possibility. Dirty fuel or water contamination is a common problem, be it old fuel with algae becoming a more prevalent issue.

    They usually clip on, and collapse. Then you can access the u joints. By sliding the teloscopic part needs to be slid out to access grease fitting there.

    Thought i killed it. Used it to boost a vehicle. Turns out the ground cable was not installed very well. Hoping so, cant get back it as the weather has turned really sour. 1" rain in less than an hour.its about to hit again.
