    L2500 After Market Power Steering

Paul, a few years back I wanted power steering on a B8200. I went to ebay and found a guy parting out commercial mowing equipment if Florida. Bought a complete unit, cylinder, steering valve, column and steering wheel, hoses for like $225. Took some fabricating, but not much really. Been...

Backhoe Subframe Interferes with Leveling Link

You should be able to rotate the sliding pin to clear all hoses and iron and use the lock nut to keep it there.

    B3200 will not start

Paul, the first thing I would do is clean the battery cables real good. You said the battery is only 6 months old, so that would be the first thing from your description, but it SHOULD be OK. Most likely problem is where the ground wire attaches to the tractor. Remove it and check for...

Backhoe Subframe Interferes with Leveling Link

A lot of the older adjustable links, including top links, had that type of pin. Gives you more leverage also because you can pull the pin all the way to one side.

Backhoe Subframe Interferes with Leveling Link

You could cut the pins off. Then in the exact same spot on the pin centerline put a punch mark and drill the remainder of the pin. Get a rod that fits in the hole you just drilled, and is loose enough to slide. Put a weld on each end so it doesn't come out. No wrench required, easy to turn...

    Tg1860g wsm

Are you mowing on hills? If the hydrostatic transmission is adjusted properly I wouldn't think you need brakes. As you already know, you have to have the parking brake set for the engine to start. I have a TG1860 gas and diesel, I've never used the brakes on either machine except to start...

    Replacing O-rings

When I'm replacing a metric 0-ring I only replace with metric. I don't try to find something "close". I've driven 35 miles one way to Coleman's to get the correct 0-ring, and it cost less then a dollar! I just didn't want to put something together and have to repeat my work to get it right.

    L3130 hydraulic hose

If you don't have someone like an O'reilly Automotive nearby, look up a construction company and ask them were they get their hyd. hose. They may very well make up their own. See if they would make one for you. Or, find out where they get theirs.

    Question Answered

Looking at the pictures it looks like that car could have passed under it with clearance. It appears the sprayer's tires somehow came in contact with car and caused the collision. I'd be inclined to think the auto driver was not paying attention, because any operator of that sprayer has to be...

New Member, First "Real" Tractor, First (hopefully) imaginary concern

Bmbbm, not a rant....just good common sense. It's a good reminder! Your comment about not going to the coffee shop and bragging about the bargain you found somewhere else is so true. In a small town it's OK to have a beer, but have two...and it'll beat you home!

    B6000 won't start

On your schematic is says, "glow plug controller". Other manuals refer to is as a glow plug indicator. It is a heavy wire resistor and functions similarly to a light bulb element. Power goes through the wire it heats up, you see the orange/red in the glow plug indicator (chrome piece with...

    B6000 won't start

The glow plug indicator Dave is coaching you on may be getting voltage, just not enough. Take that wire you say is corroded and clean or replace it. The power to your GP's goes through that, so if it's burn out your GP's get no power. Since they are getting some power, my guess is you have a...
