    B2320 Need Advise

Knowing the previous owner and history of the tractor adds value to it. Since you have a relationship with the current owner and the dealer, if you're skeptical of something, ask the owner if you can pay the dealer to go over the tractor to find any thing needing attention. Be in agreement...

    Zerk fitting/motion control pedal

Around here O'Reilly Automotive has a package of metric grease fittings. I'm sure NAPA does also. I'd say check your local auto parts stores.

    Need Advise

oregunGuy, that's being persistent. How did you finally find out where/how to order the parts you needed? That's impressive. i have a pump on a 730 Case that is kinda the same way. Can't find parts to rebuild, so just go to the dealer and buy new. BUT they always want a core. Now what do...

    BX questions

I don't think Kubota make anything with a category "0" hitch. If it didn't have category 1 hitch is was simply a lawnmower without any hitch. Lugbolt is that incorrect?

    Battery Maintenance

I have a maintainer very similar to 85Hokie's but it's branded as Stanley, I think. I like them because they have a magnet on the back of the case. My L4240 has the battery near the front. So I connected the provided pigtail to the battery and let in hang out a few inches in the front. I put...

    L3730 GST Running Hot?

I'd suggest removing the radiator and thoroughly clean in from the fan side. You may be surprised what happens when you get all the "stuff" freed up that gets into the fins. After 25 years, it's like a good back rub for your engine!!:D

GR2100 has no electric to anything...

Have to agree with Ken. Better look again, many find a crimped on eye under a bolt? Or just get a schematic of your machine and trace it out.

To Buy or Not to Buy?

Unless you just have a hole being burned into your pockets, what 85Hokie said is the most reasonable (least expensive) way to get your described task accomplished. Kubota made a dirt scoop like you mentioned. It was narrower then the ones you usually see on CL or at current farm stores. I...

Suggestions on getting old brush hog going.

Unless you have to have the mower in pristine condition, when you get the plastic out of the hole, push a piece of stiff wire down to the bottom of the gear box. See how much oil is in there. Even take a straw and stick in, cover the top end and draw out what you can. See if it's a white...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Yep, and a mower on the back makes it a little more challenging, and a belly mower is worse!

Suggestions on getting old brush hog going.

If a regular hack saw blade will fit in the hole use it, if not grind the backside of the saw blade down to make it narrow enough to fit into the hole. Put the blade in and have the teeth facing up. When you stroke the blade up the plastic crumbs will come up. You can even put a bit of axle...

I am so jackedoff right now

I was talking to a friend this week. He was telling me he goes to Wal-Mart Pharmacy to pick up his insulin. He's on medicare and has Humana to cover his med cost. He said Humana called him and wanted to know why he wasn't taking his insulin, and informed him it was necessary and detrimental...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Not only do you have a machine to make the work easier, you have an inspector with a camera to make sure it's done to specs!!:D If you've had weather like we have, 97,99,97 for the last three days, working outside makes you "over" perspire. The folks on the news said to drink a pint of water...

    L2501 Review

Zladig, it's nice when a troll jump on board!:D Everyone has different situations and circumstances, so all the information (including opinions) has value to someone not sure of their next purchase when it comes to tractors. This forum is very helpful, and civil, in how folks treat each other...
