Does a good seat sell a tractor?

RCW, you mention, "'Cat - your wife is apt to remind you about her seat suggestion for a while!" When I got the L4240 last winter she got a brand new Grasshopper with a Grammer seat. I was going to get a Grammer seat for the Grasshopper she had, but when I saw the price of the seats and what...

B3300SU won't start with dashboard connected

Dave, it nice for you to come back and report the results it took to solve your problem. When folks do as you did, it helps a lot of people solve similar problems in the future, who may start out with an internet search. Thanks.

Does a good seat sell a tractor?

85Hokie, sold it for $4750 with the mower. I've had it too long to not be in use and didn't want it parked for another winter. It was a fair deal for the buyer and me, I think. Tractor is excellent mechanically, a little rough on being pretty! The mower is in excellent condition also. I...

Does a good seat sell a tractor?

I have an L2050 for a couple of years and don't need it. Tried to sell it last Fall with little interest on CL. My wife was with me when I met a guy who sells aftermarket seats locally. It was a nice seat with arm rest and built in seat belt, for my skid steer in progress. When I got in the...

    replacement seat.

Vacula, not sure where you found information indicating their products are made in the USA. Here's what it says on their website, "Seat Warehouse offers a large selection of quality replacement seats, seat accessories and replacement seat cushions. We work with several quality suppliers and are...

    Horn harness

bxray, you're making this way too simple. I like the idea of a dealer saying you need a new wiring harness for a horn!!:D

That sounds like a good deal. It's 300 miles and 4 1/4 hours to St. Louie. I sold my B8200. Still need to sell two others and get the skid steer operating before any new projects. If it was closer, maybe...

Not another B vs. L Thread

Tunaslayer, you said, "I was extremely pleased with the BH77 backhoe." The teeth or the outriggers have no paint missing, and no signs of mud/dirt. You're suppose to be using it, not storing it!:D

Unusual finds while working our machines.

A few years ago I was using the D2 to push up some rock the oil field guys had used for years as a drive to get to the tanks. They had moved the tanks to across the road. As I pushed the rock into a pile, a friend watching began waving his arms. When I had lowered the blade it landed on a 24"...

Geoff, was that part of an advertising display? Is that the only item around it? Anyone there know the history of it?

B1550 HST has hydraulic fluid getting into crankcase.

Wow, I read this, "The Kubota service department claims that due to the tractor having a dry clutch it's impossible for hydraulic fluid to enter the crankcase. They have replaced the rings & the lift pump but that has not affected my problem at all. Any guidance or suggestions?" and...

    ZD21 Hydro Rebuild

I'd be cleaning that up before I removed many more parts! You need that to be "surgery room clean".

    janky exhaust elbow

I did the same joyful exercise of not clearing a limb with my Deutz 6206. It has the exhaust manifold with a flange on top and the pipe to the muffler bolt very similar to yours. I called the salvage place for those parts and the guy said you can't find used, their all broke! I welded it back...

    janky exhaust elbow

Pretty nice. If you wanted to protect your work from further low limbs you could (obviously before you welded it up) put the vertical piece of the nipple in a lathe and cut a ring around it. You'd then have a weak point for it to have a controlled break.

Fatjay, I bought that same style seat 2 weeks ago on Ebay for $65 delivered to my door.

Issue with removal of Belly mower from B6200

In your picture you show the blue front assy. with the PTO shaft flopped over on the side. Just remove that front part of the PTO shaft. Leave the remainder of the front assy (blue in picture) on the tractor.
