    Mower clogged

I am inspired to see a mower clogged with chicken poop and feathers. A mower will pull (suck) the grass up to the blades so the grass can be mowed off. How do the blades get clogged with feathers? Maybe you need to remove the mower so you can clean it real good! How long has this machine set...

Loose Tab Washer in Transmission Housing - B7100HST

That "tab" is suppose to be bend down to the flat on the nut to lock it on. If it is applied correctly, that is the tab is bent down, it doesn't come off until the tab is bent back up. And that bending back up requires a humanoid with a flat screwdriver or bar to raise up. But then again...

seagullplayer, even though it's at a used car dealer, that is not necessarily a negative. Owner may have used it as a trade in, which indicates he needed something on the lot more then he need this machine. Also, he gave the dealer his manuals. That tells me a lot about the previous owner...

    Welding Helmet Recommendations

Whatever you purchase, try it on YOUR head before you walk out the store. I got one that I thought was the "cats meow", but that thing, every once in a while, will pinch my ear like someone grabbed it with a pliers.

    Suggestions on smoothing ground

Just have a family member come in there and work the ground like you're planting beans. Break up the ground now and smooth it to suit you now, because later it will be much more difficult and time consuming.

    The Eclipse

Looks like Daren Todd will be right in line for the next one. The news make it out to be a once in a lifetime event. Not true if you're willing to travel. One occurs somewhere every 18-24 months. You may need a boat though...

    Sucker Stumps Popping Tires

Keep an eye on Craig's List. You can often find a used one at a very discounted price. I've got a 5', I paid $500 (I think) and a 6' I paid less for. I put new bearing on the roller on the 6' and use it frequently. The 5 footer was in excellent condition.

New tool...bolt cutter, tree puller or tree shear?

Here's what it is suppose to be/do. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HkfCXVAagVo Someone took 1/2" plate and made the bucket it's attached to. Haven Steel is a company located nearby and many of the young welders fabricate things up that "almost" work, then let them set. This was probably too...

Loader valve, victor, dukes, now qcc

A new valve will cost around $300 from various suppliers. Or, you could get a couple of bolts with the same thread as your wasted ones, have a machine shop cut a divot on the end of them. Then get a couple of steel ball bearings and put it back together (after a serious cleanup).

New tool...bolt cutter, tree puller or tree shear?

Got it last weekend. Man I got it from, said the man he got it from, said it fit a Westendorf quick attach. Nothing I've ever seen on a Westendorf would attach to this as it is. Has a label, P&W Engineering, Inc. Hughesvill, MO. I'm thinking about making the hyd. rotating mount for the skid...
