Hello. My name is Mike and I live in Alaska.

Found this forum by googling a Kubota tractor question.

Just got a Kubota B2650 w/ loader/bucket, forks, box blade, and rotary mower (bush hog, shredder, weed whacker :) )

Disclosure: I'll have more questions than answers!

Ironbender, welcome. You found the right place. Many forums do not have enough people attending, so you can not get an answer in weeks or months, or ever! NOT HERE

You post a question or comment here you'll probably have a response within a couple of hours. Once in a while someone will post a question and hours later ask again, why no answers? It's usually how the question was asked...not enough information to give an intelligent answer.

List your tractor model number and specific issue, and a picture or two if possible...and this forum will help you greatly.

Welcome, Mike.

With a handle like "Ironbender", you may have some fabrication skills?

If so, please elaborate!:)

Or, are you just reckless?

If so, keep that to yourself until you've been around for a little bit.....

Again, welcome. Great bunch of guys and gals here!

Did you get the cab model, B2650HSDC? That is one of the reason I went with the B2650 and I would think it would be desirable having a cab in Alaska. I am setting up an electrical "station" in the barn to maintain my tractor. Battery charger/maintainer, timer for block heater, etc. Was wondering if a low watt light bulb near, but not too near, the fuel filter would be beneficial?

Had to draw the line somewhere, so no cab. Certainly see the benefits, but put the money toward implements.

I'll be able to push snow rather than blow it into the wind. Tired of that!

ironbender is the handle I used back in the dark ages of CB radio!

It's from being like Superman and being able to bent steel in my bare hands. ;)

Actually, it's from shoeing horses.

I drew the line where I had to have a cab no matter what, lol. After last winter a cab was my priority, the AC, heat and 4wd are bonuses.
