RB1560 lower pins question

Should there be exposed threads or should they be screwed all the way in? Mine arrived like this and I don't think it's quite right?

My experience is that the shorter the pin is protruding and still fit the implements the less likely you are to bend the pin.

Just like Dave said. You should not need any threads showing on the outside.
