3 PT Lift Arms Acting Up

You already took care of the first suggestion by changing the fluid and filter screen. You said that it had air in the lines before the service. Just changing the oil didn't stop the air trouble. If you had air in the system before then you have it now unless you made other repairs. How or why...

Can't remove mower blade - Suggestions???

You said it all Butch. Damn the wood. Wood is for either building or burning and knuckles always look and feel better with all the skin intact.

    New guy with questions

The paint at TSC says it's a OEM match. The step in the pic is painted with TSC paint. I think it's pretty close to factory color.

    L3240 50 Hour Service

Hi Hook, welcome to OTT. I'm not sure about the placement of the drain plugs but they are usually pretty easy to find. You may even have more than one. My L 3000 has 3 or 4, I can't remember. I use Amsoil Synthetic Oil in all the stuff that I own from my R/C cars all the way to my M 9000. You...

Tractor Supply has new and old Kubota orange. It's good paint and matches up very close to the factory stuff.

By the way, that is a great looking JD that you are herding the chickens with.

    Moving trees the Bulldog way

Did you know that JD doesn't even make a tractor under 90 HP any more. Everything under 90HP is built by Yanmar and then has JD sheet metal and color put on them. With this thought now in your mind, does this clear up some of the quality issues with the new JD line up?

    48" vs 60" rear mower

Reguardless of which one that you choose I would look at one thing before I laid the money down. Check the blade tip speed. I bought a cheaper finishing mower one time with a tip speed that was around 10,000 fpm. It did ok in normal grass but if it was just a little damp or tall I would need to...

    B7100 serial numbers

Handy, If that is the worst thing that you ever do to anybody then I think everthing will be just fine. Any one of us would, could and may forever be confused by some of these tractor numbers. I'll give you a pass on this in my book for sure. :D

    BX2200 diesel odor

It wouldn't take very much smoke directly to the face and everything will smell like diesel. I hated the lay down pipe on my B 7100 and that was one thing that I changed on mine. Stood the exhaust up and added a stack with a turn out.

    Tires for a B7200D

I don't see how the rear could either be the 8-16 or 9.5-16. There is quite a bit of difference in the height of these tires. the 8-16 and the 6-12 combo sounds right to me. I know that is the size my B 7100 came with anyway. If you do have the 9.5-16 size and the 4WD works then it has to be...

    Getting no fuel.....?

My M series tractor doesn't have a vent fuel cap. It has vent tubes that are in between the hood and the dash. It's sort of hard to explain but they will be hanging down behind the starter area and about the same on the other side. Mine are bad to get stopped up with dirt dobbers. Have to shove...

    fuel in oil

When you say it fills the oil with fuel, does it do this while it's sit (not running) or have you determined that yet? I would not run it any more until the problem was fixed. You are subject to do some major damage to your engine.

    B7100 serial numbers

It may be that they are the very first models that came to America. They were produced in Japan to come to America and that is why they have dual language on them. By having that they could be sold in either place and they labels would still apply. I don't know how Kubota does their ser. numbers...

    B7100 serial numbers

Byrd, I believe that handyman is telling you correct on the gray market deal. I wish that I knew what the serial number was on my old B 7100. Mine had dual language labels on it like what you are discribing but I didn't even have pto guards or any of that fancy stuff. The pto turned the correct...

    Changing Hydraulic Filters

Hi Amishkingpin, Believe me, I fully understand the excessive cost of oil and if I only looked at the initial price I would consider looking for a cheaper way out as well. The light at the end of the tunnel for me is that the Amsoil tractor/trans fluid that I use is rated for three times the...

    Mixing UDT fluids

I got to see one of the 126X tractors the last time I went to the Sunbelt Ag Expo. It was a nice looking machine. I would like to try one out in soft ground and see it in action. I really surprised to see Kubota making tractors like that. I didn't realize there was that much of a market for a...

    Roll over angle L1500DT

I like to use my box scrape for my counter weight. I think it works good because it's not very tall and it stays close to the tractor.
