Hello,

I'm a new Kubota owner. Can I top off the Hydraulic fluid with regular UDT fluid? The tractor has Super UDT installed. I have not reached the 50 hr service interval.

Thank you!

Vic is right as usual. If it is still under warranty I would make the dealer give up the Super UDT just for principal if nothing else. That is what is in it so they should have to top it off with the same fluid in my opinion. I went thru the same thing on my L 3000 when it was new and had to do some arguing but they finally did see things my way and broke out the Super Udt.

You can add Super UDT to UDT but not the other way around. If the tractor uses only Super, dont mix them. If your manual says you can use either, mixing would be ok.

I got to see one of the 126X tractors the last time I went to the Sunbelt Ag Expo. It was a nice looking machine. I would like to try one out in soft ground and see it in action. I really surprised to see Kubota making tractors like that. I didn't realize there was that much of a market for a small crawler. It must be out there for them to have two models already.

By the way, I think you are right about the tracks. They are cool. I'm looking forward to checking out one of the new skid steers. The pics I have seen look very good.
