I am looking at buying a B7200D .
It looks like a tractor that has set around quite a bit, doesn't seem to show wear in areas where i would expect if it had been run a lot .
The hour meter show 205 hours , but who knows how long it has been since it worked last.
The front tires on the tractor are like new , as far as looking at the depth of the lugs ( lug type tractor tires).
However they are very badly checked/dry rotted? both in the thread area and the sidewalls.
The front tires are Bridgestone , Farm Service Lug -M size 6-12 . 4 Ply
The rear tires look pretty good as far as lug depth ,and not checked as bad as the fronts.
The rears are Firestone , Traction Field and Road. F - 151 size 9.5-16
I was wondering what the original equipment brand tires/size were for this tractor.
Looking at a spec sheet from tractordata it shows this as a mix of sizes.
Origial equipment ag tires were 6-12 for the front , and 8-16 for the rear .
Optional ag tires were 5-10 front and 9.5- 16 rear .
Wondering if this is a "mis-match" of tire sizes for a 4 wh drive , or if the acutal diameters of these tires are ok .
Does anyone have a suggestion for replacement tires , especially for the front tires.
The tractor has a loader on it so i am thinking i should make it a priority to replace those.
I am still in the "barganing" stage with my purchase so the tire replacement costs will be figured in also.
Kind of looks like an average of $100 for a front , and $300 for a rear???
The only other problem i see with the tractor is that the right brake is "stuck" slightly in the on position .
It has a slight drag , and this might be due to the fact that the tractor was sitting for quite a while and the brake lever is rusted where it goes into the rear axle housing . (at least i hope that is all that is wrong.
thanks in advance for any and all help
Joe.
