    Tisco Alternator Upgrade?

I have the same machine and I upgraded to an 60A alternator. I had Messicks search the country for NOS parts. I probably have $700.00 into it. You know how salty Kubot parts are! If you are good with fabricating, go for it. BTW, I used an alternator with internal regulator, so I ditched the...

    Adding Temp gauge to b7200Hst

Bob, Yes I did convert from a dynamo to alternator. Just so there is no confusion, I put an arrow at the bolt. Mine came out just fine. I found my old one. It's a M16X1.5. What I had to do was get an M16X1.5 to 1/8NPT sensor adapter fitting since my autometer gauge used a 1/8npt sensor...

    Adding Temp gauge to b7200Hst

There is indeed a bolt on the top of the head that is a cooling passage plug. I forget the size, but that's what I used on my 7200. Kinda hard to see in the pic. My runs consistently at 160 deg F.

    B8200DT Questions for the knowledgeable!

Not sure about the dipstick, but on the back of my B7200, those holes are filled with plastic screws, just like the bottom two holes are on your tractor. I orginally thought the pto guar screwed into them, but on my 7200, that is not the case. I wouldn't worry about it and just paint over it.

    Pallet Fork Modification

I should explain better....I purchased the forks used. I didn't have a tape measure with when i purchased them. I used the measuring app on my phone instead (mistake). I was just wondering if it was worth the trouble to cut the one side off and re-weld it over a 1/2''?

    Pallet Fork Modification

Hey guys, I messed up and bought pallet forks form my L2900 that don't quite fit. It's a pin-on style. It's only off by 1/4''-1/2''. I'm looking for opinons as to whether it's worth trying to modify, or look for a new set. Adjustable loader style forks are almost impossible to source...

    Problem starting L2900

Intermittent electrical issues are normally switch related. The contacts get tarnished and lose their ability to conduct. If it's related to the module, it's most likely a plug that is loose or has a bad connection. If I had an electrical diagram of the L2900, I could help you out better, but...

    Problem starting L2900

Mine does the same thing. I've traced it back to one of the neutral safety switches for the shuttle shifter. I have to wiggle it when starting. At some point I plan to bypass it.....

    b7200 help please

Agree 100% with whitetiger. The cheapest mechanical pump will outlast the best electric pump. If you ever owned a 12V and 24V Cummins, you'd know this well haha.

How long can I safely idle with radiator removed?

That's a tough call. A diesel runs super super lean at idle which helps. But your cylinder head might warp. I second the garden hose. Or if you can couple the input and output hoses together like the demo derby guys do. I think no coolant at all is too risky.

    B6200 Radiator coolant hose

Wolfman, do you think he has a Canadian 6200D? If you notice in the first attachment he sent there is a little "CA" which I think means it's specific to machines sold in Canada, eh?

    L2650D vs L2650DT

    I believe the D means it's gear drive and the T means 4x4. So 2650D = Gear Drive, 2wd, 2650DT = gear drive, 4x4 However, if your 2650D is a 4x4, then the D & DT are synonymous.

    B8200 Won't Start

Ok, well then there are two other possibilities. Please see attached wiring diagram. This is from my B7200 service manual, but I suspect it's the same with your B8200 since the electrical systems are nearly identical. There is a fuesible link in the line from the starter position of the...

    B8200 Won't Start

Well it sounds like switch itself is bad. I just had to replace the ignition switch in my B7200, which is probably the same as yours. Same issue as you where it wouldn't start. The spring contact went bad inside. It isn't a terrible job, but I did have to pull the dash off to do it.
