    B8200 Won't Start

Check your ground strap from battery to frame as well as positive battery cable from battery to starter. It may show continuity on a meter, but unless the connection is perfect, the starter cannot draw the 100+ amps of current it needs to turn the engine over.

    B8200 ,engine change out.

I believe the D950 is what came from the factory to begin wtih.

    Loader Lift Cylinder

Thanks for the replies guys. Since the bucket was not attached when I was operating the control, there was no tie point between the cylinders. I must admit I don't understand hydraulics, but thought they would move in tandem. That's why I asked. So when you attach them to the bucket, it...

    Loader Lift Cylinder

Hey Guys, General question relating to lift cylinders. I recently purchases a L2900 that has a Woods 165 DuAl Front end loader. Both from the mid 90's. I had the bucket off today to grease the pins. I noticed when I operate the bucket curl control, only the RH lift cylinder operates until...

    What engine oil for B8200d?

I have the same engine in my B7200 and I run Rotella 15W-40 all year round. No issues and always have good oil pressure.

    1983 B7100 cooling system.

I wonder if the European B7100's got a different engine? You engine looks just like the D950 in my B7200. My 7100 does not have the waterpump. Anyway, if the items you corrected didn't fix it, you might have a clogged coolant passage somewhere in the block or head. I haven't owned the B7200...

    Jump start contacts

I wouldn't clamp to the frame. I assume most machines are like mine and the frame is painted from end to end. You will get a very poor connection this way.

    Jump start contacts

I run those connectors on my B7200. It is extremely handy for powering my winch, as well as jump starting anything. I trickle charge through this connection as well, which is nice since I no longer have to open the hood to do this. I used the 175A grey connectors and #2 flexible stranded...

B7200 Front Axle Center Pin issues

Nope, engine stays in. You just need to jack the front end up and disconnect the axle where the steering arm connects to the linkage, then take the pin out. At least that is how I remember it.....

B7200 Front Axle Center Pin issues

When I was rebuilding my B7200, I was going to replace the O-rings behind the bushings. However, I could not for the life of me get the bushings out. I remember on my B7100 the came out easy. Not the case on the B7200. I wonder if the are a semi-press fit?

B7200 Rear Ag Tire Size interchangeability

I just put a brand new set of Carlisle Farm Specialty R1 Ag tires on my B7200. These are excellent tires for traction and are made in the USA too! My machine originally came with turf tires. After lengthy searching, I was able to locate a salvage machine that had the very rare ag rims. The...

    B Series Alternator bracket

Figured I post a few more pics of the alternator mounted. This is using the Kubota mounting hardware. Hopefully this will charge the battery up quicker.

    B Series Alternator bracket

So it turns out if you spend enough time searching the internet, you find what you're looking for. I was able to locate a M9x1.25 bolt, and it came from the most unlikely of sources. Apparently GM uses a M9x1.25x121 head bolts on their 2012-2015 1.4L Sonic/Cruze. And they were even kind...

    B Series Alternator bracket

Dave, it is interesting to note that the factory head bolts are not marked on my engine. However, based on the torque spec from the service manual of 47.7-51.4 FTLBS, I have to assume they are 10.9 Grade. I couldn't imagine using anything less on an engine that has high compression and rattles...

    B Series Alternator bracket

Thanks for the reply fellows. Dave, I've had the bolt out and confirmed it's a hardened head bolt and not just a plug. I wish it were that easy! Wolfman, I've searched high and low on the web. What's making it super difficult to locate is the fact that it's an M9 bolt. You are very, very...

    B Series Alternator bracket

He fellows, I'm in the process of converting from a dynamo to 60A alternator on my B7200. I was able to locate all the necessary mounting bracket and parts. These alternators were an option on the B6200, B7200, B8200, & B9200 tractors, and standard on European models (I believe). Kubota made...

    B7200D Rear Wheels--HELP

I wish you luck my friend. Those rear ag rims were specific to the B7200 only. You'll most likely never find a used take of set either, they are that rare. I'm currently in the same predicament. I was supposed to have a local wheelmaker make me a set, but he is taking forever. If you look in...

Hi All, Looking for a set of Ag rims from my B7200 4x4. Fronts are 5x12, and the rears are 8x16. It currently has the turf setup I'm looking to get rid of. Thanks, Brandon

    B7200 Rear Hydraulic Tap Point

Thanks to the unideal size Kubota made the battery tray, there aren't any standard US group size batteries of decent output that fit well. They all seem to be around 7'' deep. I may try to see if I can somehow extend the tray, but the hood mounts to it, so I'd have to compensate for that...
