    B7200 Rear Hydraulic Tap Point

Thanks Wolfman, I'll be looking into the 1/4'' route for sure. I need your opinion on one more issue if ya don't mind. I'm in the final stages of getting this B7200 back together and I want to install a much, much larger battery. I have a Badlands 9K winch I use that draws several hundred...

    B7200 Rear Hydraulic Tap Point

Thanks for the reply guys. I misunderstood the usage of the rear tap. My B7100 has one on it, and I thought about swapping it onto the B7200, but the port exits on the incorrect side. I thought it was as simple as install the tap port, run it to a spool valve, and voila! Now it see that...

    B7200 Rear Hydraulic Tap Point

Hi fellows, I'm in the process of overhauling a new to me B7200, and I'd like to install a hydraulic top link to work a boom pole. The only issue is the hydraulic tap block is up front by the fuel filter bowl, and I'd like to save that tap point for my snowblower lift cylinder anyway. Kubota...

    Kubota B7200 Rear Rim Width

Thanks for the reply Duffsfarm, they actually look pretty good! Before I read you post, I had stopped by a local Amish farm that specializes in fabricating tractor wheels. He actually had the front rims in stock, and will fabricate the rears. The price he quoted me is still less than a single...

    Kubota B7200 Rear Rim Width

Thanks Wolfman. Searching the net, it appears the 8x16'' is the common size, so I have to assume that's what Kubota spec'd out. Brandon

    Kubota B7200 Rear Rim Width

Howdy all. I recently purchased a B7200 to replace my B7100. It came with turf tires which wont work for me. I know I need a 6-12 front R1 tires, and the Kubota rims are 12X5JA rims. I want to put 9.5-16 R1 tires on the rear. Kubota wants $350+ a rim. I have a local guy who can make them...

B7100D gear, I don’t think it’s the throw out bearing

There should be a throw-out bearing zerk fitting that you access from the left side of the frame. Put it in neutral and move the tractor until it lines up. I had a noisy throw-out bearing I replaced over the summer. When I took it out, it had no play in it. So it was still good, just noisy.

    Help with oil leak

Hey Guys, 79 B7100 has an oil leak on the back right hand side of the block somewhere. Had a small puddle on the garage floor. See attached pics. Replaced rear main this summer and it's not leaking out the plug in the bellhousing, so that's ok. Thought it was an oil pan gasket, so I just...

Loose Tab Washer in Transmission Housing - B7100HST

I just had my 7100 trans apart the other week, and the only location I saw those tab washers were at the ends of the shift rails. You stake the tab around the head of the bolt to keep it from backing out.

    B7001 clutch not releasing

I had a similar issue with my 7100. It wouldn't fully disengage. Gears would grind when shifting. I had the external adjustment rod maxed out. I recently did a rear-main job on my tractor and while I it apart I adjusted the pressure plate fingers and brought them up a pretty good bit. Now...

Sudden Oil Leak in back of Engine B7100

Those pins are a pain in the rear. Both of mine leaked on my B7100 too. I first tried to hammer them back in to reseal them but that didn't work. I then got replacements (they still make them) and drilled the old ones out. After hammering the new ones in I also put RTV around them just as an...

    B7100 locks up in 2WD

Slowly getting the tractor back together. New rear main is in. New clutch disk is in. It took me a while, but I finally got the clutch adjusted to my liking by bringing the pressure plate fingers up, which according to the manual I have it set out of spec. The pedal has a nice short throw...

    B7100 locks up in 2WD

Lance, that is such a great idea! I never even though of that. Thanks for this tip! This will work out good since a speedi-sleeve doesn't exist for the oddball diameter of the crank (2.480''). Brandon

    B7100 locks up in 2WD

Thanks for the reply Frank. I've been reading the tutorials online on how to properly install them. Got to take three measurements of the crank diameter and average them..etc. Already got some bearing loctite on order. Looks like it should work well though. I also didnt realize that I can...

    B7100 locks up in 2WD

Transmission is back together and everything is working as it should. I figured since I had the tractor split, I'd do some other maintenance to it. It needs a new throwout bearing - the old one is really noisy even though it has plenty of grease in it. I need to raise the fingers on the...

    B7100 locks up in 2WD

Ok, got it off. Here the PTO coupler was hanging it up. So this must have happened over a long period of time. Only thing I can think caused it was someone resting their boot on the 4x4 lever repeatedly. The shifter shoe wore down and welded itself to the gear. Then it got all rough and the...

    B7100 locks up in 2WD

So I'm at the point where I'm ready to remove the gearbox from the rear-end. It won't separate. It appears that the pinion bearing is suck in the rear end housing. Anyone have tricks or tips for getting this out? Thanks Much, Brandon

    B7100 locks up in 2WD

Ok, it came off with some muscle. Naturally a piece of the case broke off at the alignment dowel pin location. I'm sure even after I put a new gasket on it's going to leak there. I discovered my issue. The gear that engages/disengages 4x4 is all marred up for some strange reason. When in...
