    Front axle/differential leak

I'm attaching the page from my B7200 WSM. It should be very similar to yours. Pop the steering knuckle off, tap bearing out, remove circlips...etc. If I recall, I had to separate the assembly from the front axle before that seal could be replaced. I know before I replaced one on my L2900, I...

    RC48-62H mid mount mower deck

Welcome Jim. That particular deck is rare. I own one and it took the better part of a year to locate one. It's bigger brother the RC60-72H (60''wide) is more common. I'd be willing to bet you can repair yours. Mine was a hunk of sh!t when I purchased it. I completely disassembled it, had...

what would it take to convert a b8200 hst 2wd to 4wd

I'm not sure if it's even possible. I think the transmission/case/frame castings are different. There are so many differences between the two models that the kubota parts website asks you if it's 2WD or 4WD before you can view any exploded views. Even if you were able to pull it off, there is...

    Front axle/differential leak

Nope, one seal.... part# 37650-43470 . You have one of the most common leaks know to Kubotas. Dirt and grim get in between the case and cover and help wear it down.

Stump removers, What have you used

It works very well and chews through roots like a hacksaw blade. I think the bevel helps clear the wood as you saw through it. I don't know if I'd angle the teeth unless you have a really strong backhoe. Sometimes when I dig into a root and try and pull up, it hits the hydraulic limiter. I...

Stump removers, What have you used

I use a BXpanded root ripper modified to fit my woods backhoe. It works well for small and medium sized stumps, but has its limitations when it comes to 2FT and wider stumps. It allows for a surgical-like cut of the stump, then I winch the stump out. Naturally someone didn't weld the pin ears...

    Oil leak

It is a very busy area in terms of hydraullic function. Snapped three pics of the underside of mine in the area you speak of. Let us know where you find the leak and we can better help ya out.

Adding Rear Remotes to an L3010

Salvage is your best bet since Kubota discontinued the part. Here is a pic of mine so you know what it looks like. It's two pieces that are fixed together by two pipes.

    Rookie questions? L3010 HST

The 3010 is a fine machine and very well buit. Looking at my owners manual, Kubota recommends a max of 72'' for the mid-mount and three-point rotary, and 60'' max for a flail. Personal experience has tought me if you have a lot of open field, the three-point is the way to go. If your lawn is...

New guy on the block crank no start B7200

These D750-D950's are extremely warm blooded. So warmblooded that not even ether can wake them up if they are cold! It could be 70 degrees outside and I'd still have to glow them for a bit.

New guy on the block crank no start B7200

When you're right, you're right! I didn't look too close at the "start" position wiring diagram, or I would have seen that. Now that I have, I didn't realize the glow plugs are still energized when starting the engine. Between the starter and glow plugs, that's taxing on those little batteries.

New guy on the block crank no start B7200

Looking at my 7200 FSM, the glow plug indicator is wired in series with the glow plugs. If it does not light or heat up, the glow plugs will not preheat. Sometimes the indicator is hard to see, so you can put your finger close to the opening. You should feel the heat. The FSM also states if...

Who's Using a Trickle Charger / Battery Tender?

I run a Deka battery tender and like it. I have 175A quick connectors installed on all my machines. It's handy for charging, jump-starting and winch connection. It also keeps you out of the line of fire when jumping.

    1989 b8200 block heater question

As state above, these earlier B series are extremely warm blooded when it comes to stating. I converted both of my B7200's glowplugs from the ignigtion switch to to a toggle switch. I let them warm up for about 40 seconds. That seems to minimize the smoke haze in the shop lol.

    HST vs Shuttle Shift

I own a gear drive, glide shift, and hydro. If I were in your shoes given what you're looking at doing, I'd go with a glide shift/shuttle. They shine when it comes to mowing/tilling and long runs with pto use. They don't have the power loss you'd see with the hydro, so therefore they are more...

    Woods 750 backhoe

Old thread, but I'll chime in. I have a L2900 with A woods BH7500 backhoe, very similar to your setup. I rip stumps out (with ripper tooth, not bucket), dig ditches, pits for a propane tank, ect. That tractor is moved and nudged and pulled in every direction, no issues. The critical key is...

    Mower Deck Check Chain Brackets

That's what has me baffled Hokie. The manual has you removing the factory spacers that are the same spacer dimension. The mower deck ones have the hook with the hole that I can't figure out their intended purpose.

    Mower Deck Check Chain Brackets

Just curious as to why Kubota has you installing different check chain brackets when you install a mower deck. See attached pic, red arrows. What advantage do these have over the normal check chain bracket, and why does Kubota have you install them when installing a mower deck? Thanks!

Quick Coupler Replacement w/ minimal fluid loss

Right on Dan. I had one of the dump cylinder hoses tear and had JIC swivel hose made. Salty but much easier to work with. Speaking of salty, I stopped by the local Parker store today and got a new coupler and 3/8 NPT male-male end. Left the shop with $80 less than I entered. Bright side is...

Quick Coupler Replacement w/ minimal fluid loss

Well GeoHorn, I discovered tonight that you are correct and those stinkin hoses do not swivel. So I need to purchase another coupler. I did remove the bad one tonight and could not find any knicks on it. I'm guessing the internal o-ring has gone bad. Removing the coupler from the block does...
