    hydraulic fluid question

No, there isn't anything there to sense fluid level on your machine. It isn't good practice to mix different brands of oil but provided you are using a oil designed for hydraulics and transmissions it probably won't hurt anything.

    Shuttle Shift Agravation

There is a couple of bulletins on the Hyd shuttle on M8540 tractors but yours should be new enough that they wouldn't apply. Kubota will likely replace the shuttle valve, they don't repair them during the warranty period, and that will likely fix the problem! Ed ,

This is going to be fun

Unless you want to purchase the tools to drain and reload you tires yourself I can't think of a better way! It IS quite easy to drain and refill your own wheels and all you really need is a small enough tube to go through the old valve stem and a way to lift the wheels high enough to be able...

Governor and injector pump Removal D1105

It is easiest to check the pump first and it is more likely to be the culprit. to remove the pump you need to remove the injector lines and the fuel lines then remove the stop solenoid. Finally remove the two bolts and two nuts that are holding the pump in. The pump will now just lift straight...

New here with question - B8200

The belly mowers are driven off the midpto on the B8200 tractors. Your tractor may not have a midpto! It wasn't standard equipment on all "b's" (still isn't) You might still be able to get the kit from Kubota but it is expensive. Some of the older B tractors did drive the mower from the front of...

    Down and out in TN

If the block is truly cracked then a repair could be iffy. Did they show you the crack? sometimes repair shops are lazy and don't want to rebuild so they tell customers all kinds of things!! Especially true with gray market tractors. Ed

    brand new B2920 won't crank??

You could still repair them the old way....... by replacing parts till it finally starts to work right! Right now you can't even buy the software to diagnose them, it is only available to dealers and it is password protected from kubota for each user. hardware interface also is only available...

    Blow by

Blowby means that compression (and combustion!) is getting past your piston rings. broken rings? scored cylinders? overheated rings? Whatever! it has to come apart. It WILL NOT get better on it's own and it will only cost you more in the long run if you continue to run it like that. Ed

    brand new B2920 won't crank??

Well it tells us lots of things like, if it's ever been overreved and how often,if it's been stalled and how often, if any component has been disconnected, the actual hr's on the unit regardless what the tach says, if any component has ever been changed, coolant temperature and ambient temp the...
