Shuttle Shift Agravation

My M8540 HDC has developed a problem at less than 1 year old and 175 hrs on it.
When using the hydraulic shuttle shift a lot doing loader work it suddenly will not engage, leaving it at a dead stop. I have changed gears, direction and range with no results. The dealer is checking into it but I am looking for ideas, got any suggestions ?

There is a couple of bulletins on the Hyd shuttle on M8540 tractors but yours should be new enough that they wouldn't apply. Kubota will likely replace the shuttle valve, they don't repair them during the warranty period, and that will likely fix the problem!

Check to see if the clutch cable is still hooked in moves the control valve spool correctly. Check the shuttle cable as well. Does the tractor drive if it is put in 4wd? Does the PTO work?

I operate in 4wd 90 % of the time, haven't had it in 2wd when it occurs.
The PTO does work.

Thats exactly how it happens.
Where is the valve located?
