Thanks to orange tractor I was able to finally get a new clutch for my gray market Kubota. Then, though, it took a while to find someone who could install it. Tried the local mechanically minded farmer neighbour, but it sounded like while it wasn't rocket science, you needed the right equipment to split the tractor and put it back together again. They'd do it for their own tractor, but didn't really want to for someone else.
So, I took it to a regular heavy-duty mechanic who works on a lot of farm machinery. Tractor's back, works fine, only problem is the bill. From the farmers, I had gotten an idea of how long this job should take. The bill says it took twice that.
What I'm wondering is how long does it normally take to replace the clutch in a tractor, (2002LT Kubota), assuming the mechanic has the proper equipment and experience to do the job?
