    New member, service manual?

Why is everyone so scared to support their local Kubota dealer? With so many dealers going out of business recently it is definitely not a get-rich-scheme!There are some crooks alright but mostly they are folks just like you and me! Ed

    New tractor new noise

The engagement (clutch) IS pretty much right under the seat. Some noise is normal if you just throw down the foot clutch and immediately engage pto without allowing the clutch disc and shafts etc. to come to a stop. If you disengage the foot clutch with the mower up to speed you WILL hear that...

    GF1800..anybody have one??

When you look at how it works it's not surprising that it disengages when lifting the implement. Guess it really doesn't matter much though, you usually aren't cutting when you are lifting the mower! Ed

    New tractor new noise

Is the noise there only when you are engaging or disengaging the pto and NOT when it is running? when you engage that pto you are simply sliding one half of the overunning clutch into the other and it is held there with spring pressure. hard to imagine how any noise could come from it unless it...

    kubotabooks.com may be bad?

Don't download any file from Kubotabooks that isn't a PDF file. There are two FLV files there now which contain spyware. I wonder who owns the site? I have tried uploading manuals to it and it won't accept them and I've tried contacting the site to no avail! Ed

New B3300SU - mid mount mower?

I haven't seen the new B Special Utility tractors yet but I wouldn't be surprised if they lacked a mid-pto. The new L3700SU hasn't any drawbar! The SU (special utility) tractors are being built to price compete with other competition and as such are, well, Cheaper:o! Ed

    Hydraulic filter question

A M6800 with Hydro? Never heard of it! Hydraulic shuttle for sure but there are no M tractors with hydrostatic transmissions. I don't know where the filters are coming from that Kubota are supplying but they are less expensive AND cheaper built than they previously supplied. But they ARE Kubota...

    B1750HST hydrostat problems

Hi It probably just needs a new charge pump. have you checked the charge pressure? ( should be 60 to 90 psi warm). Low or no charge will cause low high pressure and all the other thinks you describe. by the way, high side pressure should be 3400 to 3600 psi. Ed

Grabbing clutch with a hydraulic shuttle shift

Hi This tractor has a hydraulic multi-disc clutch. It is NOT meant to be used as a torque converter! It will not maintain a continuous slipping condition to protect the plates from overheating so it will grab after a short engagement period. It is working like it was designed to. Sorry Ed

    M8540

The noise you speak of is probably the hydraulic pumps priming and purging the air out.(they are right under the seat on 40 series and larger tractors). Normal and a common complain on these tractors! Use SUDT, you don't need to change it that often so the difference in price won't break you and...

    Opening a Grand 40 Cab's Roof

There is no need to remove the roof OR the headliner to install a radio. The wiring and antenna plug are right there when you remove the radio cover. Good luck finding an adapter though! We just cut and splice the wires. takes less than 15 minutes to install radio.
