    Logsplitter Hydraulics

Hi! I posted a diagram of the Hydraulic takeoff port on a L3400 to http://www.kubotabooks.com/ It is a Word file not a pdf. The oil must go from "A" port on the takeoff plate to the "P" port on your spool valve, then return from the "T" port on your spool valve to the "B" port on the takeoff...

    Logsplitter Hydraulics

do you have a loader on your L3400? If you don't you will need to make or buy a adapter to go on the flange just below the right platform. Kubota don't have a remote valve option for the L3400 but I have installed a few aftermarket valves with good results. Ed

    48" vs 60" rear mower

I don't think you'll hurt your tractor pulling a 60" mower. May have to slow down in the heavy spots. Ed

    kubotabooks.com may be bad?

Thanks Alchemysa! A very good Website you have there. 10 megs is a little small for kubota tractor manuals, any chance you could increase it? also you could set up a paypal account on there so folks could donate to it. I think you would be surprised what it would generate! Ed

    fuel tank leak

If your tractor is older than 55350 there is a new gasket (kubota call it a stay) to correct this problem. The part number for it is K2561-96140 Service bulletin was AG032-02 in Canada Ed

    B8200 and Midmount mower

You can possibly find a used mower for a B8200 but your dealer is right, you cannot get one from Kubota except possibly as parts. Even if you could the price would be way more than you'd want to spend. Ed

    L3240 oil pan replacement

Nothing tough about relacing the L3240 oil pan at all. remove the drive shaft to the front axle, then remove the pan bolts (no tough ones at all) then the pan will come right out of there. Ed

    RTV 900 Clattering... Valve Adjustment?

Replace those three joints, plus the steady bearing AND replace the rear yoke to the clamp style, will cost you almost as much as the new type shaft and it will STILL vibrate! Seriously, if you plan on keeping the unit just put the new shaft in! BTW, also check the ujoints in the rear...

    RTV 900 Clattering... Valve Adjustment?

That drive shaft on older (pre 2008) RTV's often does make a terrific rattle! Fortunately there is a permanent fix for it though it isn't real cheap. Kubota have a kit to replace the complete drive shft with the new one piece one like they have on the RTV1000 and the new RTV900. I seriously...

    RTV 900 Clattering... Valve Adjustment?

It's doubtful you could hear the valves clattering. nevertheless, they should be adjusted at 500 hr's. I've seldom seen them far out of adjustment though! The proper clearance is .008" cold. A CD version of the service manual is available from your Kubota dealer for about $20.00 (printed...

    Kubota L2250 no oil pressure

Any air leak in the suction circuit to that pump is bad news and will allow the pump to lose it's prime. that o-ring would be a prime suspect. sounds to me there is definitely something wrong between the sump and the oil pump.

    B7200 Overhheating Problem

Is it possible that you are simply trying to keep the radiator too full? The B7200 doesn't have a coolant recovery tank so it is necessary to maintain an air space in the rad to allow for the expansion of the coolant as it heats up. the proper full when cold level is roughly halfway on the upper...

    L3010 w/ LA482 loadere..... Sticky Joy stick

This is a very common operator error with TPH Backhoes! Kubota hoes come with a latch that should be installed on the TPH control lever that you use to latch it forward so this doesn't happen. It Does overload your tractor hydraulics and will result in at least pump failure if operated this way...
