    oil help needed

Everybody has their own opinions on oil but suffice it to say that for your area, any good quality 15w40 diesel oil will be fine. Don't forget to change the filter. Your tractor will hold approx. 3-4 qts., do not overfill. The dipstick will be down low on the left side of the engine.

    Dues

Bahaha, good one. Might want to lay off the pills if you notice you're starting to stare at the neighbors cows though. ;)

    l1500dt

95% of the parts will interchange. There's only a few differences that I'm aware of such as engine side covers and I believe your 1500 has a 4 spd pto whereas the L175 has a 3 spd.

An L175DT is the comparable north american model.

    Starting issue with a L1500dt

I'm not familiar with a "start button" on the L series tractors unless someone added it or your mistaken as to what it actually is. That black knob is your starter switch. Put the transmission in neutral. Turn your key on, turn the black knob to the left for 30 - 45 seconds (this preheats the...

    Leaving grass btwn 2 blades

A few things come to mind: 1. The blades are getting wore down and are too short. 2. A blade is bent, twisted, tip is broke off or dull. 3. The belt is loose. 4. On some Kubota mowers, the blades have to be "timed". That is, each blade has to be oriented a certain way when the belt is installed...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Rain finally stopped, sun is out. Me and Elwood (my L185) are harrowing the gravel driveway. In fact I'm sending this from my phone while we're doing it. High 2nd at 1800 rpm is the perfect speed, life is good.

BX2200 Vibration in front wheels while in 4 wheel drive

Its normal for the front wheels to shimmy back and forth when turning on hard surface while locked in 4wd. Things torque up until one of the wheels slip. If that's what you mean?

    1977 B6000E Decompression question

Also I might add that there is a pair of adjustable stoppers on the top of the fuel pump where the linkage rod connects to it IIRC that might need adjusting. They limit how far the throttle linkage can travel. One is to set the max rpm (to prevent over revving the engine, don't mess with it)...

    1977 B6000E Decompression question

No, the decomp is not designed to stop the engine although it will in an emergency. The engine on B6000's is shut off by pushing the throttle lever all the way forward. If that does not stop the engine, there is an adjustment on the throttle linkage rod that needs to be made.

    6200 hst vs 7100 hst

I agree with Eric. They are both great tractors with smooth running triple cylinder engines. The 7100 does have a bit more power and also it does have cruise control whereas the 6200 doesn't. Other than that, they are very similar. You will be happy with either one because they are both fine...

    Used Kubota Tractor Advice

Prices vary depending on region but that seems decent if the tractor and equipment are in good shape. I paid $3500 for mine with 1500 hrs., a 3 pt mower, 5' Woods 3 pt blade and a "like new" FL1200 4' rototiller. I pull a 5' L590 3 pt mower behind my L185 with no problems although it does grunt...

    Kubota virgin part 2

"It ALMOST turns over but then it just goes right back to trying." Im not sure we're speaking the same language here. Does the engine rotate or not when you turn the key? "Turn over" generally means the engine will rotate. "Fire" generally means the engine is trying to start, usually will be...

    Kubota virgin part 2

Make sure the battery connections are clean and tight. Are you sure the battery is in good shape? Also put the trans and pto both in neutral and fully depress the clutch when you try to crank it over. Do any lights illuminate on the dash when you turn the key to "on"? Have you seen this tractor run?

Is there a way to adjust hydraulic lift

There is a "T" shaped handle under the seat on the right side that will control how fast an implement lowers but there is no adjustment that can be made to control how fast an implement raises other than how fast you move the lever. Does the lever stay in the position you set it at or does it...

    t1760 wont pull gas

Sounds like a blockage somewhere in the carb. That "sensor" is the fuel shut off solenoid. Start with the easy stuff before tearing into the carb by checking the solenoid. To check it, unplug the wires to it, unscrew the solenoid, plug the wires back in, ground the solenoid to the engine, turn...

    B7100 Belly Mower Adjustment

Until I see a pic, I can't be sure, but on the majority of the older Kubota MMMs the mowing height is determined by where you set the gauge wheels (casters) and the anti scalp rollers.

    WTB L185 Hood

Bump. Also, a hood and fenders off of an L1501, L1801 and also I believe an L235 will fit.

Love my new tratcor, but HATE the belly mower!

JMO, but while a 3 pt mower is easier to attach, a belly mower is a lot more nimble getting around in close quarters.
