    Reverse pto

Actually Eric, there were B6000s that were designed for the US market. They had the labels in English, floor boards, tail lights and the PTO spun counter-clockwise on those as well, I believe. I heard that the PTO turns counter-clockwise on all B6000s because the engine turns that way (not...

    Not gettin' it ??

Make sure you grease the foot pedal pivot and then follow the linkage back to the HST unit (there is a spring there), lubing any other pivot points you find along the way. Also make sure nothing is bent or binding.

    L235 will not start

Even if the glow plugs are NFG all of a sudden (doubtful), with Temps in the 90s it should still start without them, even if you have to crank it quite awhile. You didn't forget the fuel shut off or something simple like that? When was the last time the fuel filter(s) were changed?

I'm a rookie, could use pro advice. Need a belt diagram

By looking at the pic it appears to me that the belt routing is correct but the belt appears to be too long. Maybe it got stretched when the stick was lodged in there? Are the belt tensioner(s) on springs or are they on slots? Maybe there is room to tighten the belt some more?

    Not gettin' it ??

By looking at the picture of the pivot arms that ride on the 3 point lift arms, they are in the "mower raised" position. There are 2 other short hanger brackets elsewhere under the tractor to "hang" the mower from in a raised position so that you can continue to use your 3 pt without having to...

    G5200 mower

If it has a decompression lever or knob, pull it and then try turning the engine over by hand. This will tell you whether the engine is locked up or its something else causing the problem. But yeah, I'm gonna guess its some kind of electrical issue, like a bad connection, bad ground or weak battery.

    Generator Problem

Kubotas are cold blooded. Make sure you use the glow plugs for about a minute or even a bit longer and then crank it. See if that helps. I've been fooled a couple times by kubota engines thinking I had a fuel problem when all I had to do was run the glow plugs longer than seemed necessary, even...

    G6200 H brake adjustment

Look underneath the floorboard and follow the linkage rod from the pedal to the other end where it is attached to a flat plate that pivots. There is a spring there that returns the brake pedal, maybe its broken, stretched, disconnected or missing altogether.

    WTB L185 Hood

Like the title says, I need a good hood for my L185. Must be solid, a few minor dings is fine but no major damage. Also looking for a good set of rear fenders for the same unit. Willing to pay top dollar for the right items. TIA.

Ben, I'm not sure about your particular model, but I know that a lot of other Kubotas have nuts built into the seat to hold a bracket that you can slide a "slow moving vehicle" sign in/out of.

L2550 Fuel Injector Pump Delivery Problem

As stated above, make sure you have all the air bled out between the t-fer pump and the inj pump. Its also possible that your t-fer pump failed sometime in the past and you've been running with just the inj pump, so maybe it finally failed as well.

    Year of manafacture

Look on your rear rims, there is a manufacture date stamped on them. Or take the serial number to your local dealer.

    T1700X Electric clutch

Part #6600151560 looks like a complete assy. from Kubota. Check out #020 on their online parts schematic for that tractor. You'll find it under Speed Change > Electromagnetic clutch.

    NEW to a B6000

All B6000's have the glow plugs powered through the black starter knob, the key only powers the fuel pump, the oil pressure light and closes the circuit between the battery and the starter knob. My B6200 and my dads B7100 will both start with the throttle at the idle position but my B6000 starts...

    NEW to a B6000

The decompression lever is usually only needed at lower temps although some guys use them year round because it is a bit easier on the starter. 1. Put trans in neutral 2. Set throttle at about half. 3. Turn the key on. 4.Turn the black starter knob to the left to energize the glow plugs for...

    identification number

I'm not sure about your particular model, but on most Kubotas it is stamped into to frame or trans housing down by your left foot when seated on the tractor.

    Need Help

There was a thread on here just recently that had the same symptoms, turns out it was the splines were stripped out of the clutch disc. Do a search on here and you'll find it.

    Used tranny fluid color

Black trans oil means its seen a lot of hours in dirty conditions. If its an HST, it should be a little lighter than the color of honey, if its a gear trans, it should be a little darker. Run it for a few hours and see what color it is now, if its still a darker color, I'd suggest changing it...
