Look on your Fwd/Rev pedal and see if there is a set bolt that limits how far you can push the pedal in reverse (the B6200 HST has one). The more it is unscrewed the faster you will go in reverse. If it has one maybe try and back it off a bit and see if that improves things.

We're going around in a circle here and its back to sounding like a fuel delivery problem. Since you had to "clean the fuel system" twice, maybe its clogged up again. I'd check that.

What all did you do when you "cleaned the fuel system"? Was there much foreign material in the fuel system? Maybe its still plugging up? Can the mower assy be rotated by hand without excessive drag? Also check the ujoints on the pto shaft for binding / siezing (unless its belt driven) Does it...

I'm thinking you got bigger problems than just the missing spring. All that spring does is return the clutch pedal to the engaged position (pedal out), it has nothing to do with the clutch mechanism inside the housing. I'd say there's a problem with the pressure plate and / or throwout bearing...
