    Like I needed this.

Thanks for the offer Eric, but the next one will be in the 40-50 HP range. I have a 130 horse Agco Allis (hey, its orange) but its too big for around the yard so I'm going to look for something in between. lsmurphy, they usually sell in the 5-6k range around here, so about half of that plus I...

Operating B7100 with a worn clutch

Looks real good. Its nice to see it parked inside. Time almost stands still as soon as something is under a roof. I shake my head when I see people leaving stuff sit outside year after year.

    Introduction section?

How about a section where new members could introduce themselves? Maybe with a short Bio and explain how / why they are here?

    Like I needed this.

Well after playing around with my B6000 and falling in love with the little beast, and seeing the gear vs hydro debate on here my curiosity was aroused. So yesterday while idly cruising the internet for lack of anything better to do, I came across a decent deal on a B6200 HST complete with a 60"...

ZD28 Owners Manual (Blade Install Alignment)

I googled zd28 and found a pdf brochure that shows a pic of the blades. www.agriquip.co.za/pdfs/zd.pdf It looks like they are all orientated a certain way alright.

ZD28 Owners Manual (Blade Install Alignment)

Probably not much help here but aren't the blades belt driven? Because if they are, they probably wouldn't stay in alignment very long. If they are all gear or shaft driven then that's a different story.

    B6000 Fuel Filter # Confusion?

I seen the fuel filter list on here, went to my Kubota dealer and picked up part# 15231-43560. Went to change the fuel filter (the one in the sediment bowl), and my filter is about 5/8 - 3/4" shorter than the one on the list. I noticed that the wix, fram and Baldwin numbers that cross over to...

    B6000 PTO seal and bolts

Since it bolts directly to the back of the tractor, I'm gonna guess its the same as mine with a S850 tiller. Its not bolts that hold it on, its actually 4 studs with nuts and washers. Im sure they will be metric. The studs and the seals should be available at a Kubota dealer.

    BX25D. Mod #1 and continued.

Very nice. Top notch work there. Maybe you should patent that idea and then sell it to Kubota for, oh lets say a quick 100K ;). They could call it the Kubota Klaw.

    B6000 Steering Box Adjusting

I checked it out and it does have a tiny fill plug on the other side. It looks like you'd almost need a syringe to fill it, but the oil was clean and full. I made the adjustments and now just have a tiny bit of freeplay as recommended. Thanks for the input.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Heres a couple pics I found on the net. I know a guy that has one of these, he uses it for everything. Its very versatile and there are lots of attachments available.

    B6000 Steering Box Adjusting

The pics in my online service manual aren't that great and I'd like to tighten up the freeplay in the steering wheel. I pulled the yellow rubber plug on the side of the steering box ( a few drips of clean oil came out?)and I can see a slotted screw inside there. The manual says to loosen the nut...

Need some help on B6000 w/ tiller

It sounds like you might be better off trying to find another tiller. The S850 came out on a lot of B6000s, I think it was unique to this tractor only, due to the ccw pto. If you do decide to repair it, the 3 places I see mentioned on here lots for parts are Messicks, West Kentucky Tractor...

    Preventative routine maint

Get a service manual and If you don't know the maintenance history, I'd change all fluids and all filters (Engine oil, Trans/Hyd, Air and Fuel). Also grease all the fittings. After that, just follow the maintenance schedule in the Service manual. You could also check tire pressures and wheel...

    My "New" B6000

New member here. I've been checking out this forum for a couple days now since I bought my B6000. It looks like a great site with a ton of info. I just brought my new baby home today and thought I'd post a few pics. I bought it at auction so I don't know any history on this unit but I went over...
