    Tires and Rims, WTF???

I'm aware of that. But I was though I recalled that the font tire loading caused extra stresses on the weaker front drive and steering components. The gist was that it imposes more constant stress on some components with the least margin, and that it was very little practical benefit anyway...

    Tires and Rims, WTF???

I'm the opposite of an expert, but from what I understand, you don't want to ballast your front tires. It seems that doing so makes it too hard on other components and is not worth the benefit to risk ratio.

Looking for Non-CDL Dump Truck Recommendations

I've got a 2500HD Crew, a K5 desert truck, a C10 6.2 that my daughter used to drive (now just a backup), a Suzi DL1000, and a Bonne GXP the wife drives. And now 2 tractors. Last thing I want or need is another thing that needs routine driveline maintenance, insurance, fuel, batteries, and...

    Newb with float charger question

I've got this one on both my tractors and my motorcycle. So far, very happy.

If one comes up a good price, we'll probably be racing each other to get it. May the best man win... :p

B2150 3 point hitch kit source

Hole to hole center length on mine is 25". I didn't get over all length, but it's the hole length that would matter. If you want the over all I can get that too, or any other measure you need.

Looking for Non-CDL Dump Truck Recommendations

No kidding. I've been sniffing around them too. Out here most are from about $6k up to $9k or so.

    Fork Lift attachment

Is this a front fork setup using the loader, or a rear setup using the 3 point? I've also seen forks that are operated directly with the 3 point. And a set more like a real forklift with a multi-stage telescopic lift frame, solid tires on the bottom, and operated off the rear hydraulics where...

Looking for Non-CDL Dump Truck Recommendations

Agreed on both points. Love my 2500HD Crew 4x4 DMax. I think a big part of the difference of opinions is usage. He wants something to use ALOT, and something to tow his equipment at the same time as hauling material. That completely kills the pickup and dump trailer. For me, it would be a...

B2150 3 point hitch kit source

Hydro shouldn't matter, though someone can refute if I'm wrong. I have a B2150D (gear, 4wd, TLB) that I can get any measurement you need off of.

B2150 3 point hitch kit source

Either that or get lucky with one of the bone yards. I've had no luck at all there. If they had it at all, it was over priced BEFORE shipping was considered. For instance $200 for a B7100 hood that was really beat so bad I wouldn't have been happy at $100 locally, though it would have been...

Looking for Non-CDL Dump Truck Recommendations

As have I. I suppose we just have different experiences. For instance, I had an 18' twin axle I towed my rock-crawler (and other stuff) on for years. Used it once or twice a month generally. Smallish lot at the time and no good place to store it out of the way and still get it easily when...

Getting bolt out of B7100 hub

Of course not. :D But it makes a difference which way the wheel is turned. On a light tractor like the 7100 I doubt it makes a difference, but ideally you would not want to clamp over air with those convex hole dimples. But my main point is I've never seen a wheel behind a hub like that...

Getting bolt out of B7100 hub

Sorry if this is off topic, but isn't that wheel on the back side of the hub?

Looking for Non-CDL Dump Truck Recommendations

If I were getting a dump truck, I would want one with drop sides. Yeah, for strict dump work it's probably weaker and less ideal. But I've got a friend with one, and it is SO much more useful than a straight dump. More than once we've used it for side loading with a forklift, so it almost...

    Wanted: B7100 Hood

I've since decided I'm more interested in fixing this nice (but rough) little tractor up a bit. But no point if I can't replace the hood (this one is just too bad to bother with). So just bringing this to the top in case someone runs across anything. I did try some of the other suggestions...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Broke out the B7100 today. Kinda glad I didn't sell it. The B2150 is too big to do the job I needed this time. Basically, the PO brought in some top soil and/or leveled the back yard putting the slab of the guest house slightly below grade with water diverted to the slab. I had previously...

    I hate my dealer

Where do you go? Try the Bob Cat/Kubota on 7th Ave and Deer Valley. Prices are high, but no more so than all the rest from what I see. And at least they are friendly and helpful, never rushing me out the door.

    B6200 Engine Swap

Maybe it's marketing garbage, but I found it odd that the 6200 with D850 is rated at 15 HP, and the 7100 with D750 is rated at 16 HP (according to Tractor Data). I thought the 850 was an upgrade to the 750 power wise?
