    Moving Day.....

Hang in there. I bought land and built my own first house when I was 21. 1700 sf and I did the drawings acting as my own sub. Started a business too, doing good. Then hit a run of bad luck (local economy turned and some unfortunate weather plus bad choices) and it got so bad I almost lost...

    Wanted: B7100 Hood

Story of my life, day late and a dollar short.

    Wanted: B7100 Hood

Your search skills must surpass mine. The only thing I found was a really beat up hood for $250+$75.

    Wanted: B7100 Hood

I've now had 2 hood deals fall through. Last one the guy seemed nice and worked out down to him giving me the final amount to send him (with shipping), then after a few "I'll get it next week" messages, dropped off the face of the earth. <shrug> Anyway, still looking. Ideally for a used faded...

    Source for tubes 12.4 x 14 Firestone R1

Not sue why I missed it last night when I searched, but found this other thread today. I called Nebrask Tire and they have just what I needed. They were very friendly and they are on the way far cheaper than tubes I found in general "on line" searches.

    Source for tubes 12.4 x 14 Firestone R1

My recent set of used wheels and tires came with tubes having CC ballast. I had decided just to run them and I empty as much as I can. Well, not only got more than a little run into the broken down bead, I damaged one of the tubes trying to get it mostly drained. In the process I also noticed...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Used my 2150 for more-or-less the same thing today! Also finished rebuilding the may gear drive for the Ford 905 Auger today. Finally assembly should happen tomorrow. Would have finished a LONG time ago if I didn't have to work out bearing preload using gaskets as shims, what a stupid design...

    B7100 price

I agree with NIW. I've got $4k in mine with loader, gannon, and auger. It's got faded paint and a beat up hood from the PO not paying attention and dumping most of a load of large landscaping rock over the back of the bucket. Only other problem is some dry rotted hoses and tires, but they are...

    B2150 leak from steering column.

Yes, it all uses the same hydraulics, and it's a slow weeping leak, so unlikely to be anything other than just another mess to cleanup. As for taking action, the post was yesterday, so haven't even begun to look into it yet.

B2150 dual stage clutch diff from single?

LOL. Thanks guys, I figured as much (on going dual to single), but just thought it would be worth asking since I don't see value to me in the dual function. As for clutch only, yeah, not for me. If I go in there, everything in the vicinity will be replaced with new. I've learned that...

    B2150 Service Manual

Due to issues posted on other threads, I called the dealership on Friday to check into getting a Service Manual. Looks like it's about $150. Now I know Kubota is quite proud of their brand and parts, but $150 for a cheap spiral bound printout? Seems a bit steep (ok, a lot), but the web hasn't...

B2150 dual stage clutch diff from single?

I mentioned not long ago that I had noticed my 2150 was very hesitant about getting underway in high range high gear. It was suggested that I check alignment, but it appears to engage well before topping out, and it seems to have the 2 stage clutch. I did some casual looking for clutch...

    B2150 leak from steering column.

I noticed when I cleaned it up that my 2150, which has power steering, had a bunch of greasy gunk accumulated around the steering column. I cleaned it off think, "Now why would that be there, overzealous user with some extra grease? <shrug>" Of course I've noticed it wet since, and realized...

    Back to School

And here I go feeling all good about my B2150, and you go giving me an inferiority complex. Sheesh... But seriously, NICE job! You started after me, with far more to do, and it now looks in better shape than mine. :o Hmm, about that inferiority complex...

    Anyone wax their tractor?

Oh, and just to be clear, not trying to be argumentative here. I've got friends who think I'm crazy the way I take care of things. I need to work on something, all tools needed go in the carry box/tray/whatever. Need more, add to box. And NOTHING goes directly back in the box, even if I...

    Anyone wax their tractor?

Yeah, they cost a lot, but in my case, no where near what the truck cost. But the truck carries my family on vacations (and emergency trips too), used to haul my rock crawler buggy all over the SW US, and part of it's purpose (for me) is to look good and protect it while doing it. If I had one...

    Stink Bugs

Heh, you should spend a day with me sometime, make you appreciate how good you have it. ;) I've been on a run like that for seems like a year now. My friends are even making fun of me about it! One called up the other day to accuse me of hanging at his house, he had such a ridiculous string...

    Anyone wax their tractor?

I'm glad you guys love your shinny tractors :p, but for me, it just does not register . Then again I don't wax my tool box, my welder, compressor, or my impact for that matter. However, unless in active use they will be clean, everything in it's place, everything working properly...

    b7100 front pto shaft?

It is direct drive (unlike most rear PTOs), and is usually used with a front auxiliary pump for a loader. Mine is that way. Probably for other things too, but none come to mind right now.

    kubota b2150?

LOL Sorry, no help on the lights, mine don't work, and I've not gotten to remedy that yet. My truck comes on with a light to wait on going out before cranking, but tractors you generally wait for the light to signal hot to start.
