    Kubota 2506 Won't start

Dave - I did notice he changed the model to BX25 in his first post. Don't know if he can edit the Title are in this new format? You couldn't edit Titles in the "old" OTT format....

    Kubota 2506 Won't start

I would follow Jim's advice. Check both battery and frame-mount ends of ground wire, and make sure ground is not broken. Also, check positive battery cable for breaks, clean/tight terminal connections. Since you're getting a click, makes me think it's a simple electrical issue to rule out...

    Kubota BX1860 Front Drive Shaft

Before you make any plans to operate without the propellor shaft, I would look underneath to see if you have any fluid leakage caused by the prop shaft beating up fore and aft bearings as it came loose from it’s connecting points. Thinking you’ll need to run it a little to be sure. If it’s...

B 2601 not staying at selected mowing height.

Welcome to OTT. Wish I had the time to search for you right now, but there are several threads regarding this issue on OTT. Most, as I remember, are about BX series tractors but some are related to B's also. As I recall, most are about the detents at the height-adjusting knob itself..... the...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

For almost 25 years I thought I had no use for a leaf blower..... A couple times I’ve even used it for leaves!👍

BX Folks: Looking For Photos of Your Destroyed Hydro Fan

    I don’t have one....thank goodness. Geez, I shouldn’t have said that!😖

    Mower wheel stud froze

You’re gonna need a bigger hammer..... Don’t think there’s another fix to that one. That said, you should try something like PB Blaster or other penetrating oil instead of WD40 first. Let it work for a day. WD40 is not a lubricant....WD40 stands for water displacement formula #40 if my memory...

    Off Road Diesel

I use the same product Magic uses. I believe several others do also. In the last couple years here on OTT, there seemed to be many more complaints/problems with algae. I adopted it as S.O.P. year-round couple years ago. I also use PowerService mentioned above year-round - White bottle...

New BX2380 ROPS pin holes not lining up

There have been quite a few complaints of this here on OTT - dealers putting them together wrong.

Awesome dogs / Crazy pets Thread

Lugbolt - I was a farmboy many years ago. A farm tends to attract dropped cats, stray/lost dogs, etc. Some of the dogs created big problems; aggressive to the animals, our own dogs, and sometimes us.... I can certainly relate to your apprehension about a strange dog. As adults, we have...

    UPDATE: Diesel to flush transmission???

While I can't speak to the diesel-flush issue, the hydraulic system is open center. An open center system circulates fluid through the looped circuit(s) at all times, whether implements are moving or not. Thus, fluid would be going through the pump at all times the engine is running.

    Hood Stripe Sticker / Decal

Try the Kubota parts diagrams: https://apps.kubotausa.com/illustrated-parts/ Agree to legal and put in your B7200E model - OPEN the Part diagrams. I think they often will have a section for LABELS or DECALS. Will hopefully give you a P/N to search for. Some that have found them available...

    Over heating bx2680

Get yourself a laser thermometer. Can be had quite cheap anymore. Check top and bottom radiator hoses to see what kind of temps you're running. Bottom should be lower than top, as that's the radiator doing it's job and dissipating heat from the coolant. My BX2360 occasionally reads hot when...

    BX23S Hydro fan blade

Countrypapa - - reminds me I need to check my fan..... I'm 400 hrs without incident, but have been "in the sticks" a lot lately too with mid-mower deck on...I do use the BxPanded shield when mower is off. As far as "boiling," not sure that would happen, even if it got real hot. Just...

    First Kubota

Definitely check the fan as mentioned! I would probably do a complete service; air filter, engine oil and filter, hydraulic fluid and filter plus clean the screen, drain/fill the front axle, flush/refill radiator and clean it’s screen and wash radiator itself. Then you have a good baseline for...

    Analysis Paralysis L2501/LX2610SU…….B2601

Just for what it’s worth.... my carry-all weighs about 175 or so. With my BX, I figure I can carry a little less than 300 pounds of cargo, tops, without the FEL and the MMM on....no front weight otherwise. So that puts me at almost 475, all pretty close to the lift arms. That is tops for cargo...
