    What's cookin' boys?

Never had nor made Calzones.....that’s gonna change today. As much Italian food I’ve made and had over the years.....oh well. Thinking some are over-stuffed.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

When 12-14 years old, I buried my Dad's (now mine) 'Moline by going off the "beaten path" on our way to firewood cutting. No loader, 2 WD tractor with narrow front-end.....so 7,000 pounds of anchor in sloppy stuff like that. I remember it was early in the day. Dad was, well, how can we...

Kitchen and Bath Faucet Manufacturers - Your Favorite?

In 30 years, I've probably put almost 10 kitchen faucets in. The Sterling (cheapie) lasted the longest, by far. That said, the Moen is getting close....geez, I shouldn't have said that!

Kitchen and Bath Faucet Manufacturers - Your Favorite?

Hmm... got looking at this thread and realized I started it 18 months ago..... For what it's worth, my kitchen Moen and very cheapie bathroom Sterling are still great. Replaced the very old Pfister bathroom with a Pfister. Started leaking somewhere after 20 years. Didn't seem like packing...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Oh, that’s cool! Have never seen an 048, and it looks in great shape. Ran an 056 AV Super for many years. Thanks!

    Sudden death of White Oak?

Obviously not their first rodeo. It sucks you had to go through that, but at least it’s done, and you got a couple other problematic ones also.

    Mountain lion sighted………Neighborhood Alert!!

David - I've gotten a real kick out of this! Your decoy looks great. I went TOTALLY WILD years ago and hung a maple sap bucket on near-dead Butternut tree. :p Left it there for a couple years straight....but the newspaper never picked up on it....  Of course, poking some fun...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Dave -if you meant 046, you had a good saw to take care of it. Only 2 bigger in Stihl. Heck, the current equivalent of your saw is $1,200 new now. Can’t imagine what the 6xx or 8xx cost.... Now, if you meant 028, that little cuss did some yeoman's work! Looks like a softwood(?); all the...

B20 front bucket and power steering issues

Do you know anything about the tractor's history? Service, what kind of fluid in it, how many hours, etc? "Clean and full" may not cut it. I know NOTHING about B20's, other than they're a stout small commercial TLB. The pump sounds wonky, that can mean it's bad, or simply starved for...

How do I separate the draw bar function from the mower?

Assuming it's a Bx1860 in your profile? Raise the mower to full height, and then turn your Height-adjusting Knob to "TOP" Will keep the mower at top height, regardless of where the 3PH is.

    BX22 Hydrostat Temp

I remember a long while ago someone saying that HST operating temps can reach ambient temp + 100 degrees F, so they do get pretty hot.

    coastal multitrac tractor fluid

Dayum....guess I got a talkin’ to. Oh Mr. Mark, please forgive me for conveying manufacturer’s recommendations.....😱 Understand that many new tractor owners use this Forum as a resource. They’re obviously not as smart as you are. Godspeed.

    L3010D Service and Repair Manuals

There’s a 2-part manual for L3010, L3410, L3710, L4310, L4710 that totals 36 MB.... one 20 the other 16. I just opened one part of it and it is clearly titled Worksop Manual. The part I opened was 400 pages....I didn’t look closely on my phone, but it didn’t look like an operating manual. Try...

    coastal multitrac tractor fluid

Mark - The basic principle of this discussion is are you willing to risk damage or poor performance from the 2nd most expensive part of your tractor....the hydrostatic drive Of course, the most expensive is the engine, but that can normally be rebuilt. In most cases, you can’t economically...

Converting front mount to 3 pt snowblower

Betting the PTO had a smaller sprocket, and the larger sprocket used to be for reducing RPM from whatever the mating tractor mid-PTO was (some are 2,000 RPM?), down to something more 540-compatible. My blower has a similar system, but shafts are vertical to each other as opposed to...

Now I need a HD top link bracket...

Torch - Nice find! I do recall a couple pictures of HD brackets posted here. Seems wasn't that long ago - -within last year? Don't recall tractor models, etc. Seems like one was a good, clear, close-up too.... didn't look like a $300 part.... Did a quick OTT search for "HD top link...

    What's cookin' boys?

Jay - - not sure. Generically we call it butter and sugar. There’s several farmers within 5 miles that grow corn for their stands so I don’t have to worry about growing my own.

    coastal multitrac tractor fluid

I don't know it's quality....I never disputed it's quality. Therein lies the problem; as I know what my tractor manufacturer recommends. I only tried to boil-down the cost of recommended fluid versus your alternative. For a geared tractor, or even those with GST, there are great...
