You must not have the crankshaft driven FEL pump. Lucky!
Nope. It would have taken me a bit longer if I had the FEL pump. A few more things to loosen and remove. Hardest part was snaking the belt around the fan blades and the shroud. She is pretty basic, 4wd, hst, mmm, and 3 point out back.

Used the new tractor and LandPride rotary cutter to cut down 5 acres of horse pasture. Worked great.

Hit 20 hours while mowing, then figured out no matter how much water you use, it's not possible to get the MMM deck clean while it's on the tractor.

Mowed the lawn. It was hot and humid outside and nice and cool in the cab.

Back to the farm to do some welding on the disc before it is needed this Fall.
IMG_7939.JPG

Lift the disc frame up off of the disc assembly.
IMG_7940.JPG

Steady as she goes.
IMG_7941.JPG

Grind and bevel the broken parts.
IMG_7942.JPG

'Bout ready for welding.
IMG_7944.JPG

I believe that will hold.
IMG_7945.JPG

Reassembled and ready for action. Thank You Kubota FEL.

Just me but I would not wash off the mower. Use a leaf blower or compressed air instead. The wet grass that you can not get off, and there will be some somewhere, will start the rusting of the new machine.

I always use compressed air with a three foot long nozzle with a 45° bend on the end to blow off all the clippings. I also take the covers off the belt drive and blow the clippings out of there, and clean off the battery cover also.

I changed the oil on my BX1500 and replaced the drain bolt with a ValvoMax drain valve. The previous owner had damaged some threads on the pan and the drain bolt would not torque down. I repaired the bad threads by gently running a tap thru it and the drain valve torqued fine. The drain valve is tucked in behind a frame cross brace and just under some hydraulic lines so I am not worried about it hanging up on anything under the tractor. It also has a cap/o-ring on it if the valve itself ever leaks. Going to make it easy and clean for future oil changes also.

I use this for blowing the grass clippings from the mower deck as well as the sawdust from the sawmill. Yes it's new, and just replaced the BG55 which now has duties at the farm blowing off the Bushhog deck.

I only have ~25 acres that are not timbered so bushhogging is not a real chore, just something that has to be done. My main problem is Sweetgum and Persimmon sprouts that have to get a dose of 2-4D to keep under control. I hates Sweetgum!! :( Matter of fact, I even have a plaque to prove it:

Wife suggested a canopy for the B2601. with P.O. approved I ordered a Curtis Canopy from Artillian.

TTWT code saved $50.00 and code works on orange color. :)

For almost 25 years I thought I had no use for a leaf blower.....
A couple times I’ve even used it for leaves!👍

Hey that is one of the newer ones. There were several improvements from the "5's" to the "6's". I think that I will like the newer choke arrangement better, time will tell.

I've been working on taking out an RV sewer line since we've changed our mind on the RV location. Here in NW AZ the working hours are 4:30 - 6:30 a.m. these days. Caught a nice picture yesterday as the sun was just beginning to rise. I love having the back hoe on call and being able to use it for an hour or two and then continue the next day and the next.....

Just curious, why say NW AZ if you are from SE NV? (Mesquite Nevada)
Inquiring minds want to know.:)
