    coastal multitrac tractor fluid

Sam, I’m not going to try to give you advice. You obviously don't want it. Jay, AKA "Creature Meadow" figures he's in $38/year for SUDT2 on a much larger machine. I know he uses his quite a lot..... His tractor takes 10 gallons; yours about 6. So his $38/year is about $23/year for yours...

    New tractor financing offer questions

I was about $15k+ all-in w/taxes for a BX2360, FEL, MMM, and BX2750D blower with QH in early 2013. Yours is similar, but a BX26xx, so a couple more ponies. BX2360 was a "leftover" model, as the the 2370's had come out. I also assembled the blower and QH, which saved me a few bucks. The...

    How mad should I be?

True - the Tech is paid Tech wages. The shop owner needs to add other fixed costs to keep the shop open. Lights, taxes, insurance, etc., etc., etc.....If he paid his techs $80/hour for up-fit of new tractors, the shop rate $250-300/hour. I used to shoot for ~20-25% labor overhead, but that...

    New tractor financing offer questions

Go to the Kubota website, and "build" your BX2680. See what you get for MSRP. Many say you can get 10% off MSRP, but it seems to vary greatly by region. Don't hold me to it, but I think some (commercial?) of the blowers come with factory hydraulic rotation. It is a $8-900 adder if not. As...

    How mad should I be?

Joe brings up a good point....you learn by doing. I'm no mechanic, but I have capability and like to learn. After 15 minutes' use when new, I couldn't see fluid on the HST dipstick....I freaked. My salesman (a friend) brought me a gallon of SUDT2. It took a quart-plus to fill it...it...

    Down sizing B-Bx

Gosh, the $16k for your TLB seems a little light, but they always are....With MMM? Not sure what retail for the set-up would be used, especially with Kubota having 0% on a regular basis on new. Like vidiot, I'm looking at going from BX to B, and the trade offer I got ($10k) a couple years ago...

BX2200 PTO selector fork? Gear? Pump? Not engaging MMM

I neglected to add that parts diagrams can be very helpful, especially with linkages. They will also have CURRENT parts #'s if needed, whereas manuals maybe outdated. Here's Kubota's USA link. https://apps.kubotausa.com/illustrated-parts/ There is a Canadian site too.

BX2200 PTO selector fork? Gear? Pump? Not engaging MMM

If you don't have one, get a Workshop Manual (WSM) for your BX2200. It might help with your PTO engagement. Looks like a free one here: http://www.kubotabooks.com/AutoIndex/index.php?dir=Tractor%20Owners%20Manuals/&AutoIndex=d8f6c6d154f6672e1517408dcea1e7e2 This site also has some WSM...

    Spruce tree disease

Yep, sure looks like a Blue Spruce. Needles are sharp and pretty stiff? (I think scientific name is Picea pungens). Sounds like Bill will have a better idea as far as product choice, but needlecast is fungal, so you should be heading in the right direction!

My daughter is a Clinical Research person at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) in their Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). I haven’t really missed Tapatalk after the upgrade. A while back, Fordtech gave some pointers on how to make viewing better with the browser. I haven’t done that, but need to someday.

Show us your Shop and Equipment

You’re really going to like that! I did a 60A sub panel in my garage several years ago. The feed to it was long and a bear, but glad I did it. Have 2-220v circuits and several single-pole circuits. Adds/changes are easy, because the box is right there and simple to run into.

    Vacuum Sealer Recommendations?

JWool - just curious how long you've had this sealer? How much you use it? Any problems? Looks like 50' rolls can be had for $8-15, depending on width? Appears much cheaper than others? I liked several of the models recommended, but this one stood out to me. I also liked the sous vide...

    Septic System

As others said, under normal circumstances, additives to a sewage system are not necessary, and may be detrimental. In fact, some additives that claim to break up the sludge or scum may do so, but where does the stuff go?.?...to the absorption area, that you’re trying to protect from the sludge...
