    Diesel storage / shelf life.

A few years back I bought a Cat crawler that had set for years. When the fuel cap was removed there was a strong smell of varnish. After going through the basics of checking fluids we pulled that machine with a tractor and it fired off. We let it idle for a long time before we shut it down...

    Valve stems

Drilling a new hole for a new valve stem and any welding of a protective shield would require removal of the tire from the wheel. Even at the age you mention it would be much easier to get the proper air in the tire with the wheel mounted just as it is. Perhaps someone around to help you get...

    Read your phone while walking?

If you want to get a picture of why society is such that people are so hypnotized they can walk into a train, read how a boy who became a pro football player was brought up. https://www.theplayerstribune.com/nick-chubb-nfl-football-cleveland-browns

    Matching Kubota orange paint.

For some of you guys bragging how old your are...... ;) ;) One elderly man said to another, “I’m so old that my blood type has been discontinued.” The other replied, “Yes, but you can’t let aging get you down. It’s too hard to get back up!”

    Kubota dealer visit

Your prejudice is showing! ;) I've been buying from Coleman Equipment before they were Coleman Equipment. Scott O'Dell was who I bought my first Kubota from and they are now one of the three locations Coleman Equipment owns/operate. Coleman's Bonner Springs store is within 30 miles of this...

How do I NOT Break This??

Terry, you have it figured out, it's just on there tight! If you have a pliers that opens wide enough to get around the nut you can get a better grip, but only use the pliers as a gripper, not a torque wrench! Gently try to get the nut to move while applying pressure counter-clockwise. Be gentle.

    Another Kubota/tractor newbie here

If half of his property is wet and squishy at time, I'd suggest 4x4.

Overheating and now stalling - I don’t feel good about this.

To actually clean the radiator to it's full potential without removing and rodding is to get the big stuff off with air or water, then spray with something to set and soften the built up dirt. like purple power or something similar. Let the cleaner set for 5-10 minutes then wash it off. Then...

Overheating and now stalling - I don’t feel good about this.

Might go to your nearby auto supply and "rent" a leak tester for your radiator cap and cooling system. Put the pressure that your cap allows into the system and see if it holds pressure. That will clarify issues with your cooling system.

    Daily Chuckle

That reminds me of a friend of my wife. She's deathly afraid of mice. She got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and there was a mouse on the back of the stool. She hollered, screamed, danced and yelled for her husband, then got on the phone to call the exterminator (in the...
