    Options for 3rd pin

I believe you're referring to the top link. They are generally adjustable within a range. The one needed for use with Pat's Quick Hitch would of necessity be longer than the one needed without it. You'll probably have to measure to see what length you need. I had to buy a new top link when I...

    Need Advice on tractor

The two JD models you quoted are probably most similar to the Kubota LX series which is probably the way your should go if you want a belly mower as that's the largest thing Kubota sells with a mid PTO. If you don't need the belly mower you could consider the L series. The first two digits of...

    L35 FEL-Steering Issues

No experience with this problem but I have read that with some tractors you kind of need to prime the input of the hydraulic pump to get it pumping properly again. You may also have a screen or filter in the hydraulic system needing cleaned or replaced.

    BX2380 Tipping Point

If it would make you feel better consider having your tires filled with beet juice. That seems to be the least corrosive and most environmentally friendly fill at the moment.

    B2100 tire size

According to Tractor Data it takes a 6 - 12. You could look at your existing tires and see what they say and I'm sure you could get accurate information from the user manual. If yours is lost they are available on line. https://www.tractordata.com/farm-tractors/001/2/6/1262-kubota-b2100.html

    L3301

If your primary concern is traction you could possibly consider adding weight. You could fill your tires wit beet juice to increase traction and keep the original size tires. Getting wider tires may defeat the purpose of gaining traction.

    Glow Plug Switch Wiring

The coil serves as a voltage dropping resistor as well as an indicator. It is wired in series with the plugs and the plugs themselves are wired in parallel with each other. The idea is to drop the twelve volt supply to the 10.5 volts the flow plugs want to see. On my Mitsubishi D2350 I used...

    L1500 Hydraulic oil change.

I would think 80 weight gear oil would be a bit thick for a hydraulic system. I believe Kubota currently recommends their SUDT2 for all hydraulic systems.

    Woods 750 backhoe

My neighbor uses a three point hoe with no issues - but only for light work. I have read that it can put enough stress on the tractor to snap the frame. If you get it use with care.

I use the dye from John Deere in my tractor. A little goes a long way.

L3130 HST drastic loss of power

If you are absolutely certain of your fuel supply (open line, check fuel flow from tank to ensure not obstruction, etc.) check your air filter and air path to intake manifold.

    Brush Hog with BX1850

Your tractor should be able to handle the four foot brush hog but take it easy. Keep an eye on the temperature as you will be working it pretty hard. Remember too you'll be adding a lot of weight to the rear of the tractor which will affect handling.

Black Oil, Due To EGR system?

Interesting question. My oil stayed virtually clear through the first fifty hours of tractor use. After the first oil change it is starting to get noticeably darker. Perhaps my Shell synthetic oil has more detergent or dirt trapping capability than the original oil? My last tractor's oil...

    UDT Fluid change

Generally the transmission and the hydraulic systems share the same bath. If you can find 80 weight oil it should work fine but the viscosity may be a bit high for your hydraulics - at least until it warms thoroughly. Viscosity of the UDT2 would be a selling point in its favor.

    Frontend loader M4-71CD

You should be able to raise the bucket with the tractor dead but it will be heavy. You may wish to put the control in the float position first so you're not fighting the cylinders. Once you get it up take it out of float and hopefully it will stay put.

It sounds like one of the safeties is still unhappy. Is the PTO disengaged? Did you depress the clutch? Were you sitting in the seat?
