    L3302 Question

Is there a question in there? From the context I'm guessing you want to know if the L3301 and L3302 tail lights are the same. Look at them for comparison but I suspect they are, as well as the L2501 and the L3901. I have found the part numbers can vary for the identical part between tractors.

    B2650 lights

Unlikely or not I'd check the bulbs as a starting point. From there make sure the socket grounds are intact. Determine whether you have voltage at the socket when the light switch is turned on while the key is switched on. Although the fuse looks good you may wish to check it with an ohmmeter...

B2320 how to have 3pt lower to same place each time?

Frequently there is a sliding nut and bolt combination on the three point control slot. You can try setting that in the correct position to see if it is satisfactory for what you're doing. If that doesn't do it chains may be your only recourse.

Pat's QH and extending the top link holder(s)

Depending on your hydraulic top link it may be adequate already. If it is really too short and you want to extend the mounts it shouldn't cost an arm and a leg for two flat plate of the appropriate dimensions. You'd need three appropriate diameter holes in each plate, two of which are for the...

    Considering a B7100 HST - Thoughts?

I don't know what you mean by the high end being weak. I hope for your sake that doesn't mean the clutch is slipping as that would involve major disassembly of the tractor. Yes, an HST tractor does have a clutch. The hydraulic leak is not likely part of the problem unless fluid is quite low.

    Replacement Tractor suggestion for L245DT

If your old tractor was adequate the L2502 is the current equivalent. The L3902 would be a significant upgrade but bear in mind you will add the complications of a computer controlled tractor with diesel particulate filter and all the added complications you've never dealt with before. That is...

Spacer size for bolt on hooks

You'll probably have to measure your specific bucked per the instructions on Ken's page. Kubota used different buckets and the dimensions can vary. I followed the instructions and was quite pleased with the result. Until you get back to your tractor you probably won't be using it and Ken's...

    Kubota L5240 won't start

Pull your battery cables. Clean the connectors and the battery terminals. Replace connectors and tighten securely. Follow ground lead to frame - clean and tighten there, too. Charge your battery. After charging your battery should read at least 12.6 volts and possibly over thirteen due to...

Rtv x900 side by side excess fluid in crankcase

As suggested it is typical for the hydraulic pump to be driven by the cam or other gearing. If the shaft seal on the hydraulic pump leaks the result is hydraulic fluid in the crankcase.

    Glow plug lamp bypassed

Are these actually lamps or are they indicators? Older tractors used a coil of resistance wire to drop the tractor's nominal twelve volts to the 10.5 volts the glow plugs wanted to use. The ends of the wire would typically oxidize and not pass current to the glow plugs and were commonly...

    Hard start/low power

The white smoke can indicate excess moisture in the cylinders. Get the compression check. I see repairs in your future. It could be as simple as a bad head gasket or more serious.

    PTO Problem

Okay, I own this one. I connected my PTO shaft for my brush hog type mower. I thought it latched but it didn't. After bringing the mower up to speed it slipped off the PTO drive. The mower continued to spin the shaft. It flew around wildly until the blade slowed and stopped. Of course the...

    Won’t start!

How does the battery "seem" good? Either it is charged and tested good or it is not. Clean and tighten all contact points and do not overlook the frame ground. Monitor battery voltage (at the battery) while cranking. If it drops below ten volts or so you may have found your problem.

    Kubota B7800 (2008) Not Starting

Be sure the fuel is flowing freely out of your tank. Disconnect the first practical fitting after the tank and be sure fuel flows freely at that point. If it slows then stops you may have found your problem. Be sure you've got a good fuel filter and fuel flows freely through it. Of course...

    L1500

Like Ed, my first concern would be the direction you're trying to turn it. From there the best suggestion is to use an impact wrench. They will frequently work where the steady application of force will not.

    Off center zerk

I agree. It's probably bent or cross threaded. Get a new fitting and hopefully the threads aren't ruined and it will go in straight.

The operator manual will give all the acceptable weights. I believe 10W-30 is among them though as suggested make sure it's diesel rated. I just generally use 15W-40 year around.

l3800 DT PTO doesn't engage easily...

Check your clutch adjustment - the pedal should only have about an inch of free play. Engage PTO at idle then bring up to speed. When depressing the clutch allow a couple seconds for gears to stop rotating before engaging PTO or shifting into gear.

    Time for Troubleshooting

I'm not there to watch the process but I've found I don't need to go very deep to stop tractor motion. The best technique for me seems to be to start the cut with bucket slanted slightly down and on the ground. I'll lower bucket a bit while moving forward then begin to roll the bucket up as I...
