B2650 lights

Picked up a new to me 2018 B2650 with cab, B2782 front blower, and 6 foot Land Pride box blade. Looking forward to winter and clearing snow with it. I missed that the headlights on the front of the hood don't come on with the dash switch. I didn't notice that they didn't work when looking it over before buying, but the lights on the cab work great. Everything else on the headlight fuse works so its not the fuse. Seems unlikely that both bulbs are burned out. The underhood wiring is plugged in. Any other ideas for me to check?

Unlikely or not I'd check the bulbs as a starting point. From there make sure the socket grounds are intact. Determine whether you have voltage at the socket when the light switch is turned on while the key is switched on. Although the fuse looks good you may wish to check it with an ohmmeter to ensure it is good.

I had a new to me trailer that seemed to have the exact same problem .......... no way BOTH bulbs could be out ............. but they were. Check em like Roadworthy said.

Yep....this.

Check the simple stuff first. Then start the process of elimination.

And as concerns electrical troubleshooting, I never dismiss anything based on 'likelihood'.
