That's good information to have and I know the tractor is rated conservatively. Even so mine has sufficient power and doesn't need the stress of trying to put out more. If I needed more power I'd probably shop for a heavier tractor, too.

I had a Mitsubishi tractor and the exhaust went straight up. I worried about water getting into the exhaust but upon inspection they had worked out a solution. There was a hole at the bottom of the pipe where it made the ninety degree bend to connect to the manifold.

The Heavy Hitch puts additional weight on the three point. It moves the lifted object a little further away from the tractor further reducing the safe loading amount. It appears you will definitely be over loading your tractor. I wouldn't recommend it.

Do you have good flow from the tank? Can you get fuel through the filter? Have you checked the fuel shutoff solenoid?

Chain it down, front and rear, other wise it'll tear itself up. Grease the little nipples at the collars, too.

Blow air or run water from a hose through the radiator fins from back to front. This way you'll force stuff out the way it entered.

If you disconnect the lower radiator hose and remove the radiator cap you'll probably get everything out except what's in the catch tank. Remember when adding water to use only distilled water.

Look over the little lever carefully. If I recall mine was binding on my L2501. I think a little lubrication did the trick - or did I add a washer? I know I did something to the lever on the fender.

If it's near the floor boards it is probably to engage the differential lock. Normally only one rear wheel drives the tractor. This lever may engage the other wheel's driving action.

The BF400G is the appropriate loader. Good luck finding a used one, new ones are probably not available so used may be the only way to go. Be sure to get all mounting hardware, too. You can also get an after market loader such as Koyker but be prepared to pay $4000 to $5000 for it.

If the tractor stalled just as you were turning it off perhaps you just ran out of fuel? Stranger things have happened.

You could jack each side individually but when jacking a tractor I generally place the jack on the center of the rear end. I may put a chunk of 2 X 4 between the jack and the tractor. I don't know how your drawbar is attached - never thought of that option.

Generally if the dash indicators (oil, etc.) illuminate and you get no response from the starter when you try it is one or more safety switches not satisfied. If the starter does engage the safeties are all happy and you have a different issue.
