    Operating Cutter with L3200DT

The two stage alone isn't worth it, IMO. But it and the extra HP is worth it. The extra PTO HP is nice when mowing. Seems like there was something else different between these two, but I can't remember. Maybe it is how the PTO is engaged? I like the solid old school leaver on the L3800DT...

    Operating Cutter with L3200DT

I like the 2 stage clutch & is one reason I went with the L3800DT. But it's not that big a deal... I mowed with other tractors for 30 years with regular clutchs and didn't mind much.

2013vs2014 l3200dt please reply about to buy

Yes, that's the way the clutch works on a L3800DT. Called a 2 stage clutch sometimes. I Really Really like mine!!!!

    l3800

The arms on mine do not rub the tires, but I have ag tires. Best to use a counter weight on the 3 pt when the mower is off and using FEL.

    Pto clutch with HST L3800

You are doin it right. Engage at low rpm with clutch in, then let clutch out and increase rpm. I haven't heard of any pto/hst problems. But have heard complaints of lack of power with hst and having to always keep the rpm up high?

    The new L3800 HST

Lookin at your last pics reminded me I NEED a larger tractor! Not that I'll get rid of the L3800, but get a larger one to go with it... :D

    Hodge Stabilizers on L3800

Mine have the kubota stabilizers that work like Hodges, but don't look as heavy duty. No way I'd go back to the screw type!

    The new L3800 HST

Right on the clutch. Too bad it doesn't have gears to go the clutch. ;) The rear rims can be set out wider, I'd do it! No help here on the remotes or grapple. They don't come with the right side handle, but I'd get one.

    Hodge Stabilizers on L3800

Nice! Mine came with em, or else I would have ordered a set from Hodge.

So I decided to prove my R1s would not get stuck..

What I have found with mine, is there is more weight on those small front tires than is on the much larger back tires. This is only when the FEL is on & no weight on the 3 pt. What happens it the small skinny front tires sink quickly & the rears bury themselves because of lack of traction...

So I decided to prove my R1s would not get stuck..

Probably so, that is a bad mud hole! But my L3800 (w/R1s') sucks & has no traction in the rear with FEL & no counter weight. With proper ballast mine has really impressed me in the mud and on the slippery slopes...

    The new L3800 HST

No, there are some 'jerky' L3800 out there, but not many. All the basic L series has a little jerkyness, but it's not much of a problem. Still, Kubota needs to address this issue.

So I decided to prove my R1s would not get stuck..

If ya had 500-1000 lbs on the 3 pt hitch, or the FEL off, it might not have got stuck. Key work is 'might'...

    L3800HST Safety Switch Wiring

Seat switch is a pain. I planned to disconnect mine but it hasn't been a problem. Tractor must be in neural and PTO off or the seat switch will cut off the engine when you stand up. HST peddle is another switch location, the peddle has to be centered before ya get off the tractor, or start it...

I doubt it was leaking when the dealer had it. Probably started after some use.
