Think you are going to like your L3800. I have one I picked up before Christmas. My back section was looking like something from the lost world. Cutting with a bush hog is way different than a belly mower. One pass and on to the next. But have to do some major tree surgery. Few areas have problems with over hanging branches. have fun. Before you actually take possession of the tractor this morning, test the 3pt. lift. Try to slowly raise the arms. If it's herky-jerky like mine you might want to double think your decision.

Congratulations, nothing like having different sizes, I bought my L5740 a couple of years after the M8540 too.

I just bought a brand new L3800 tractor last week and my 3pt hitch it pretty smooth. Also you should have had them space out your back wheels. Makes it much more stable and you don't need spacers with the AG tires. You will love this tractor!

My New L3200 3pt. is real jerky. Wonder if the L3800's have fixed this problem?

No, there are some 'jerky' L3800 out there, but not many. All the basic L series has a little jerkyness, but it's not much of a problem. Still, Kubota needs to address this issue.

How's the 3pt. lift in slow mode? Did Kubota fix this problem (jerky) on the L3800's yet?
A little but not bad . Done got Use't to it after using it today . Didn't even notice it by the end the day .

Some questions ---
The clutch not used but to start and engage and disengage the pto right ???

And as far as widening only the rear tires right ???

And I see I'm going to want to install an 3rd function probley as a full kit . What's about the best easiest one ??? And grapple how heavy is really to heavy for it to be . As I mite buy one or mite make one for the bucket . Wish it would have had it today .

Rear remotes I didn't get any . Should I go factory or something else if decide I want them figure I want at least one for a hydro top link . And where does the handles go for them ??

And did they forget the right hand grab handle ?? It has the indents with a orange round sticker coving the holes .
See pic

Right on the clutch. Too bad it doesn't have gears to go the clutch. ;)

The rear rims can be set out wider, I'd do it!

No help here on the remotes or grapple.

They don't come with the right side handle, but I'd get one.
