    Kubota 3300 or Deere 3038e ?

Cowboy, just get R1 Ag tires if you are dealing with any mud. R4s' might be alright but aren't near as good as Ags' in mud.

    Kubota 3300 or Deere 3038e ?

Not sure what a 3300 is, L or B? When I was looking a 30+hp tractors I looked very hard at the JD 3038e and Kubota L3200-L3800. The Kubota is way more tractor & the JD had too much plastic for my liking! & I couldn't deal with the aluminum gear housing on the JD. I've had the L3800DT...

    L3800 dt. 50 hr. service

I've not been a fan of Frame filters in the past, maybe they are better now? I stick with OEM for the Kubotas and use Wix on everything else. Good call on the other grease fittings & the vent bolt on the front one.

    L3800 dt. 50 hr. service

L3800DT at 50 hrs. I changed trans filter, but not the oil. Had fine metal on the magnet, not a concern. Changed engine oil & filter with 15W40 Kubota oil & Kubota filter. Greased all fittings. Do not overlook the two at the front axle pivot! Second engine oil change used Rotella T6 5W40...

    Hodge Stabilizers on L3800

Just order a set from Hodge. I have the Kubota telescopic stabilizers and the are fine, but not as heavy as Hodges. I would never go back to the screw type!

    My new m7040hd

Same here, except I have around 200 hours on mine. I didn't change the trans oil at 50 hrs (just filter), will wait and do it at 400 per manual.

So I decided to prove my R1s would not get stuck..

I learned the hard way trying to pull a truck out with a chain. I only use large nylon strap or rope now. I use chain for lifting & winching...

    L3800HST Safety Switch Wiring

I would not ever want to get off the tractor with the PTO engaged and turning a mower! The reason for the tractor to run with seat flipped and PTO engaged is to run a wood splitter, chipper, generator, etc...

    The new L3800 HST

Yep there are rare times when mowing I wish I had the loader, but it rides, handles and steers so much better without all that extra weight and length hanging out front. Not knocking the loader, I use mine a lot, but don't want it on there when mowing!
