    Operating Cutter with L3200DT

What I'm trying to say, is I've run tractors for years with single stage non-live PTO with little trouble. But now that I have a two stage clutch, I wouldn't want to go back. The extra HP is noticeable when mowing, as is the two stage. If not too late, I would change my order. Best I can...

Proper ballast (counter weight) on the 3 pt hitch is the most important part of FEL use. The rest is common sense and practice.

    Driveway re-do, looking for advice..

Most of our drive is uphill and fairly step in places. We also have 'speed bumps' in the right spots to divert water off. Works great.

    Driveway re-do, looking for advice..

I see no reason to use the rippers. I've been doing a mile long gravel drive for 24 years and have never put the rippers into it.

First time out, already stuck in mud!

What tires? Ag tires are best for mud. If you have a FEL you need extra weight on the 3 pt hitch to counter that. Problem with FEL and no weight on the 3 pt, is the front tires have too much weight on them and sink quick. And because of the FEL hanging out front the rear tires have little...

    Kubota 3300 or Deere 3038e ?

True, but in my case, the loader is off unless I need it. Stays on most of the winter and off all summer. I Hate to mower with a loader on!

    Kubota 3300 or Deere 3038e ?

I'll mention the aluminum gear housing on the JD again. That really has no business on any tractor!!! Being able to take the loader off is also a huge factor!!!
