    Loader Getting Weak With Use?

Have you checked cycle times when hot yet? If not check them cold and then hot. Use a stop watch, time 3 cycles each function and direction and save the average. The specs are in the WSM. This will tell you if you have enough flow to the loader valve. You can bypass the BH valve to eliminate...

    Loader Getting Weak With Use?

I agree that it may not have an issue and it could be operator perception. But the schematic does not show a relief valve incorporated into the loader valve. I see the main relief in the pump as the sole protection for the circuit.

    Loader Getting Weak With Use?

Yes and it does not have a main relief so I doubt the issue would lie with the BH valve itself. More likely a pump or flow priority valve issue. That is if the low pressures he is seeing are in all functions and direction on the loader circuit.

    Loader Getting Weak With Use?

I believe @Soopitup is measuring at the point circled below. This would be enroute to the loader valve but after or with the BH valve in the circuit. I would recommend bypassing the BH valve to eliminate that from the equation. If the BH valve has it's own internal relief it can lower the max...

    Loader/quicktach earth auger...how much flow?

That rating is most assuredly for both pumps combined. For the implement hyd. section I would guess somewhere over half of the total gpm rating. You would have to check on the requirements for the auger you are planning on buying and the specifications that Kubota publishes. Some are designed...

    LandPride Landscape Rake with wheels

I assume you mean the wheels do not spin and not the yoke. I would check to see if you have overtightened the through bolt. There needs to some axial clearance for them to turn

BX owners using Rotella T5 or 6

Both Rotella T5 & 6 are rated CK4 which is CJ4 and beyond, backwards compatible. There is no issue with using either in your tractor

    What is this part for?

Looks like part of a brake adjuster.

    Changing mind on oil changes

Actually is it quite that simple. When you have a load in the bucket whether it be the weight of the bucket and loader arms itself or with a load in the bucket you have a force acting on the cylinder rod trying to force oil from the barrel side of the cylinder. This force is trying to create...

    Changing mind on oil changes

This not how friction type bearings in an engine are lubricated. Oil pressure has no bearing on the oil in the bearing, the oil is drawn into the clearance between the crankshaft and bearing it is not forced. Please do some research and you will learn.

    Headlights on an 1976 L225

Yes they work off the main key switch to the left of the steering column. Go to Kubotabooks.com and download the WSM for the schematic and service info

SP Full Synthetic oil used instead of Diesel (API C classification) oil

It will not hurt your engine but will not have the best properties or handle soot as well. I would just drain it into the jugs that it came in, fill with the HDEO of your choice and use the oil you drained out in your lawn mowers.

Do Kubota tractors have a built in over run clutch?

As much as I hate to use parts manuals as a reference, this snip from the parts lookup indicates that the GST models were available w/o ind-pto. It is strange that it does not show a mid case for GST with ind-pto, but the WSM shows in the transmission schematic a reference to supply to the...

    Charging light stays on

Yes that is the way the terminals should be oriented according to Denso regulator catalogs. The light wire had better be switched power. If not then the light would illuminate both key on and off eventually running the battery empty. Not a good scenario. What happens when you cant tell what...

    Charging light stays on

Easy enough to determine which circuit is which. Key on with connector disconnected probe both wires with a test light. Ignition circuit will be brighter, light circuit will be dimmer and the charge light will likely glow too.

Do Kubota tractors have a built in over run clutch?

From everything I could gather the GST models in that L series have the standard transmission driven PTO with an overrunning clutch. It seems that manual and HST models could be had with independent PTO but they do not have an overrunning clutch.

    Charging light stays on

The terminal the white wire with red tracer is connected to is the light terminal. The one above and perpendicular should be connected to the ignition circuit. Remove the connector and turn on your switch to see if the light is still on. You could always could always connect the plug to the...

    L5030 Engine Oil Recommendation

Unless you used Castrol GTX Diesel the oil would not be diesel rated. Just go to Walmart and pick up whatever flavor HDEO you like. I would recommend a 10W30 but 15W40 would be fine. While a synthetic is usually better quality than a non synthetic I seriously doubt you would see any measurable...

Can I Attach a Bolt-On Cutting Edge To This BX Series Bucket (Newbie Question)

No it will not. if the base edge is not flat the bolt on edge can "work" and loosen. I have seen this happen numerous times. You can repeatedly tighten the bolts but it will not stay unless you have 2 flat surfaces to mate together. Even an edge with too much paint can cause the edge too loosen.

Can I Attach a Bolt-On Cutting Edge To This BX Series Bucket (Newbie Question)

First off to you but to anyone that wants to read it and comment. If you just drill and bolt a new edge to your current worn edged it may loosen as it is used.
