The issue will not be the variation in the leading edge but the wear from the front edge to the rear bottom surface of the existing cutting edge. If it is worn uneven and has some curvature you will likely never keep the edge tight on the base edge.
Of the 2 dealerships I have worked at, if you were caught working on a brand of equipment sold or serviced by the dealership you were terminated immediately. It is a policy of every dealership I have delt with
Actually I believe the front bevel gears are straight cut not spiral. Straight cut are not so demanding on the level pf EP additives required but I still would not use a SAE 10W40 oil in that application. Anything GL4 or higher would work fine.
Yep I was going to suggest taking that cover off next. There looks to be a hole just above the output shaft at the top of the HST that is the return to sump for the HST and you will see a constant flow from this into the transmission case. This is the combined flow from the power steering and...
Do you have charge pressure at the P3 port now? There should be no reason you would not if you have pressure before the filter. The filter will not cause that much pressure drop and if the path was completely blocked pressure before the filter would rise until most likely a hose comes apart.
As...
I would ask the OP if he has checked charge pressure at P3 as I never assume anyone has checked anything at the correct locations. Also what size gauge is he using as spec is only 43-71 psi so a 100-200 lb. gauge is what he should be using. If using a large gauge, say 3-5k it may not even...
As NIW mention ed, make certain the input shaft to the hydrostatic transmission is turning when trying to move the tractor.
If testing charge pressure you should be doing so at the P3 port at the bottom of the HST. It is the middle port and is either a SAE 4 or 6 fitting. You could conceivably...
Sorry been out of town at meetings this week. You still have not said which pressure they have checked. Who is working on this? are they experienced or backyard mechanics? The charge pump is internal so the only thing they can do to verify it is OK is check charge pressure in neutral and while...
It depends on what pressure you were checking. You have to check the charge pressure first then check the forward and reverse servo pressures and then forward and reverse drive pressures.
I would look under the floor boards at the pedal and transmission. Unless Kubota is not showing an updated model the L4600H HST appears to be mechanical linkage to a servo control valve. If so check the pedal attachment the rod ends on the linkage and the pinch bolt that secure the lever to the...
That all depends on what they find as the fault. If it is debris or caused by something other than material defects or workmanship it should not be warranty, although many companies will repair these things at no or little cost to the end user.
Take the action out of the stock and see if something is wrong with the sear.
As far as having to have the safety off to move the bolt that seems to be a European thing. My CZ's are similar in how they function
High engine rpm's do not equate directly to engine exhaust heat. Engine load or fuel delivery is what makes engine heat. Run a diesel at rated rpm all day long with no load and it will not run that much hotter than at or off idle.
If the linkage and shaft is moving freely and completely I would remove the forward and reverse check, high pressure relief valve, inspect the valve ass'y and seat inside the housing and swap them.
