I'm restoring a 1970s L225. It has headlight bulbs but the wires have been unplugged and left hanging. NO switch on the dash. were they on with Ign switch? Is anyone making a LED replacement bulb set up? Any info would be a help ,Thanks

Yes they work off the main key switch to the left of the steering column. Go to Kubotabooks.com and download the WSM for the schematic and service info

The wiring may be odd because there is one wire for low beam and one wire for high beam and a single ground wire that attaches to the steel hood or enclosure. Here is the schematic of the wiring for a L185 and L245 which may be different from the L225 you have.

And honestly these headlights are really dim and nearly not worth worrying about.
