    B2601 loader crooked

Bucket adjustments are common and it's covered really well in Sheepfarmers thread. We all hate incompetent dealers, they exist, but it certainly wouldn't make me buy or not buy one machine over another. If you think Kubota is cheaping out on a $20,000 machine, please go spend that money...

    Trenching questions

Crossing the trench is something you'll need to learn if you have a bound in start and end point that are less than a couple of tractor lengths apart. If one side is open, then start from the bound in side and dig towards the open side. The simplest way to handle this is to stop about a...

    Dashboard symbol

The symbol needs some clarification: AKA: "I can't breathe you dumb human!" or probably better represented as: P.S. not calling anyone dumb here, just pointing out the silly hard to interpret symbol!

What do you use for a welder?

My father calls the D-17 a "Rolling weld on wheels". Most of the welds were done with a 110v Mig flux welder or a 220V Dayton stick welder from the Jurassic Age. It works fine. Pro welders seem to turn their noses up at the inexpensive Mig (flux or gas) units. All the usual reasons. After...

    D950 powered service rig

You could rig up a PTO spline setup off the crank and just interchange whatever you want to drive with the motor with a PTO shaft arrangement. Obviously it would be running engine RPM's and not standard PTO rpms, so you'd probably want a reminder sticker around it someplace, but that would let...

    L3200 Starting Problem

Like in the other post, clean the ground connections up, both at the battery and where the strap connects to the frame. No Start Flowchart: http://www.orangetractortalks.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=13259&d=1414682326

B2910 not starting and what i thought was shutoff solenoid is not

How's your ground wiring? A good number of these electrical issues come back to bad grounding. Clean all the ground connections and try again.

    one of my other rides...

I wouldn't screw around with the little guys for those prices... can get a D2 for under 6K in these parts. Probably less elsewhere. http://slo.craigslist.org/grd/5214090990.html

    Epiphany

I don't necessarily agree with lakebota. It really depends on the community and the roads and other considerations. A responsible adult and parent can make that call and it's okay by me. I don't think there was any responsibility to be had by PorkBolt if the tractor was being operated in a...

    Which implement do I need?

Yup, harrow for ruts that are not very deep, just 'dents' in the ground. If it's more than a couple inches deep, go for some fast passes with a borrowed 2 bottom plow then harrow to finish. The middle buster is for deeper ripping of compacted soils in prep for plowing for crop planting, you...

    Trouble bleeding out air

True, I was looking at the filter cleaning the fuel of any gunk that could clog the check valve on the bulb... so I guess potato po-ta-to...

How to remove PTO B3350/Land Pride tiller

That's thar's funny right there... don't care who ya are... :D :p Most implements get left out in the dirt, mud, rain and sun. Spoiled ones like mine get a covered shelter but that's pretty rare. So they get all kinds of garbage in those release pins and it causes them to require a bit more...

b2620 new owner and a diff lock question

The lock has to engage. It could be loose linkage (easy fix) or the lock mechanism just not dropping in (simple like needing lube or harder, something worn). I've got a newer L3200 and it's diff lock is just fine. I've not heard of issues with the mechanism, it's usually pretty simple.

    Trouble bleeding out air

Before or after shouldn't matter that much unless you need to fill the filter and the injector pump, then before would likely be better, so cool with that. I was just thinking of ways to do it. I've seen it on gas engines, especially marine ones, but figured it might work in this case as well.

    Dune buggy rebuild

Looks like a fun project. Generally speaking, if it's cable actuated you should find a lever in there some place on the transmission.

    Trouble bleeding out air

The pressure is just giving you feed into your injector pump. It sounds almost like your injector pump is marginal on pressure going to the injectors as well but that would have to be diagnosed. If you are frequently running the system out of fuel you could try a bulb pump based pressure...

Pavilion for wood and Kubota attachments

Way overkill for the shed, right out of my school of thought, I like it! What did you use to tie the piers to the wood, Strong ties or generics?

How to remove PTO B3350/Land Pride tiller

A hammer and an old piece of rebar will let you tap down on that button (after you spray it) without getting the hammer in next to the assembly. You don't have to go all Samsonite Gorilla on it but do tap it with some authority. It will break loose and lube itself up for the next trip down and...

    L2500 Overheating?

That sounds way too fast, but I can't directly relate that to my unit as it's an L3200, but I can tell you that in 4th gear on my 32 hp machine with a 60" mower and 3'-5' high weeds my unit starts to overheat. I mow in 3rd gear and take my time and it never goes above mid point. I also clean...

Pavilion for wood and Kubota attachments

Nice work. That's always a challenge with a backhoe, going tight and vertical. Good job. This is what I have to do for my two storage container that I'm turning into the walls of my future garage. I have to put them up on foundation piers built like that as well. Not looking forward to it...
