    Radiator fan blades..

More blades is not necessarily more airflow. There are a lot of factors involved, pitch, diameter, style of blade, etc. If you need more cooling, you might be better served with an auxiliary radiator and an electric fan attached to it. You can make the electric fan switched on by temp and...

    front 3pt Hitch resources

Wouldn't an SSQA front loader be more effective? You have a ton of attachment options with those as well.

    Left-Right brake pedal question

This is something you only do on soft surfaces, don't even attempt it on a hard surface like asphalt or concrete. It must allow some slip on the surface or you risk your drivetrain. Same could be said for 4WD overall. Not really needed on the hard stuff.

    Installing rebuilt fuel injection pump

I wouldn't lose much sleep over it. The timing might be off due to wear but it's going to be in fractions of a percent, minor fuel cost issue, maybe slight but nearly unnoticeable power loss. D2Cat is right on, use the same shims and power forward. Those are more for machining differences...

True, but if it's a halfway decent police force, it's a hard accident to run away from. I'm surprised the truck still ran at all. I'm hoping he has insurance as well.

    L2500 Overheating?

Bush hogging is hard work, especially if the weeds are really high. What gear were you running it in? What size is the mower? If all is good, I'd suggest slowing it down a bit and trying again. If the temps stay down, you are overworking that 25hp motor at higher speeds. PTO should stay at...

B2320 Bogs Down Uphill in High HST

Easy to confuse that pedal with a throttle pedal isn't it?! I like to think of it as a variable gear selector. You still have a throttle there too.

How much dirt can a BX25 dig?

Yup, box scraper or back blade can do ditches that can be mowed and do them rather fast. Running a plow in opposite directions works as well but it's harder to control the grade inside of the ditch that way, you might have to follow up with a blade or scraper. Backhoes work really well, but...

    Left-Right brake pedal question

Yup, spin as close as possible in place to let the tractor line up on the next row pass. You don't have to skip rows and come back. I haven't unlocked the brakes from each other on my L3200 yet, haven't had the need. Maybe when I start doing the garden with it.

Glad to hear you both came out of that mess okay. It's good that you probably massed as much as that F150 and had seat belt on or it could have been worse. Sorry to hear of the demise of your tractor. Hopefully the other drivers insurance will let you get a nice new unit and you can go back...

    Diesel in oil...test

At 560 you shouldn't be getting any fuel in via the cylinders. That is not necessarily true for the injection pump seal though. If that seal leaks, the injection pump will happily push fuel out and into the oil sump. Dipstick level test is usually best indicator, along with MK1 calibrated...

    Captain Candle Wax method

At the end of the day, it's all about break up the rust bonds that form down thread channels. You can lubricant yourself to death and make no headway if the rust doesn't have something else to break it loose. That's when the lubricant comes in. That lubricant can be paraffin or whatever, but...

    BX2360 nearly overheating issue

Agreed, but once it mixes with dirt and sticks, it's time for a soak. Eventually it blows out, makes a gawdawful mess doing it too... don't ask me how I know... just don't ask... yuck! :(

    BX2360 nearly overheating issue

On a newer tractor, I'd agree with that, but older units that have never been cleaned (or rarely cleaned) need something to get the gunk to 'unstick'. You could be blowing with that air all day and it would never unstick. Air alone might do it if there's no clingy dirt involved. The water...

This guy is pretty good with a forklift...

That wasn't a little bump, he took down a column on a direct hit. Even a moderate load would have come down on the main rack. The telling condition is the second rack came down from the other side with just the 'stuff' from the first rack impacting it. So yeah, they were overloaded, but that...
